Bombas

Pump not working
I bought the pump in November of 2023, Installed it end of December to use it this summer to water my garden. Used it two months and it already quit working. Not having any luck getting a hold of seller to find out the warranty on the pump.

Good Pump But Lower Flow than Desired
Works great. With my temporary setup, it puts out 2 gpm measured in a bucket with a timer. The pump was 30 feet down in the well (about 10 feet below water level). Reduced it down to 3/4 inch garden hose connection and ran it through a check valve and 100 feet of garden hose with a nozzle. With these considerations, 2 gpm is not that bad. It can be used to fill pools, water gardens, etc. If I had to do it over, I would get a larger 24V pump since the well I have access to is so far away from my house.UPDATE: Removed the spring loaded check valve and nozzle since it was a big restriction. 300 feet of garden hose. (250’ of 5/8” and 50’ of 1/2”). Has 2.5 gpm. Then I hooked it up to my 100’ soaker hose and it worked great watering my blackberries. Sprinkler works fine but is weak with about a 20’ radius. Would be fine if it was just 100’ of hose.UPDATE: I am now using the pump to fill two 330 gallon tanks. It has been pumping between 500 and 700 gallons per day. I have 200W of solar panels and a charge controller hooked to the battery / pump. I use the water in the tanks for an RV pump for using a sprinkler. City water is expensive and this is saving a lot and will be there if city water shuts down.~ TWO YEAR UPDATE: After a little less than two year of being in the well, it stopped working. Took it out and one of the three threaded rods that clamp the pump casing together had corroded in two. Decent amount of corrosion on the others. They broke when dissembling to inspect. I got my money’s worth out of it, but disappointing it corroded so much. See picture.
