We were in a crunch and this was perfect and affordable. My son is slim but muscular. The jacket was a little snug because of his build but pants and vest were perfect.

Most people, myself included, feel a lot more confident and comfortable when they look good in the clothes they wear, especially to formal events. Perhaps the most important part of feeling good in your clothes is a proper fit, which this does not have. I'm normally a medium and I prefer slim fit clothes because I go to the gym and it makes me feel better when my clothes compliment that physique, but other reviews said to order up because it runs very small, so I ordered an XL. When it came in, the style and color looked really good, but the coat was definitely not a slim fit. It was very baggy and made me look like a box of air. The vest was also a little loose, but vest are supposed to be adjustable in the back be more form-fitting. The vest fit very well after I adjusted it, but the way they designed the strap makes it look a little goofy. The pants were extremely tight, definitely slim fit, per the item description. They looked as good as I could've hoped when standing, but when sitting down it felt like one quick move and they'd rip apart down the crotch. As I expected with a 3 piece item that all uses the same sizing indication, it's very difficult to get the sizing right for each part. All in all, the pants were a little too small, the jacket was too big, and the vest was just right for a perfect Goldilocks rating. If you don't care about looking a very specific way or getting a specific fit and just need a suit, I'd definitely recommend this because it's very cheap for what you get (still order a size or two up because it runs small), but I'll be sending mine back because it's not for me.
