We built a new cottage and decided to paint the entire interior by ourselves (because we're gluttons for punishment, apparently). Washing out rollers was a huge pain, and I felt like we were wasting a ton of paint. Found this thing on Amazon, and wow does it ever squeeze out a lot of paint! Seems to work perfectly on our rollers, and the paint just pours out back into the pan with a single pass of this little invention. Cleanup is easy, too. I'm very glad we found this thing!

Omg this saves so much paint! A little hard to press down the ruler. I feel like it needs a handle on each side.

I had pretty much given up on cleaning roller covers because of the crazy amount of water needed to clean them after scraping with regular cleaning tool. I figured from an environmental standpoint it was better to keep them wrapped during a job and then throw them out when I was finished.This tool lets you get so much more paint off the roller that I can wash them for a few minutes in a sink and then use one of those tools that spins the roller to finish it off in a five gallon bucket full of water. I can actually do two in the bucket so I think I am using about 5 gallons of water max per roller cover to get them clean. It is also a pretty clean operation compared to my old method and the rollers are much cleaner. Also you get some extra leftover paint.

Although I haven't tried this yet, I'm only giving it 3 stars because I feel it's deceiving. The title and the pictures both mention and show the cups that you are supposed to scrape the paint in, however, you don't receive any.
