Shipping ruins it
So, the protection might be great, hopefully I will never need to use it. The problem is that the drone arrived a week before the package containing the Care Refresh activation card so since I didn't sit and stare at the drone in the box, I am past the 48 hour activation of the drone so now I have to shoot a ridiculous 10-15 minute video showing the drone still works so that I can be eligible to sign up for the protection I paid $149 for. That is why I am giving this product from this seller 1 star.

You need too have dji care refresh, just for convince if anything,already lost one due to connection issues, actually dji did reit
Sounds good, looks good on paper hopefully never have to use it

Do not buy DJI Care Refresh! Waste of time and money
If I could give a negative review it would be -5 stars. This is the worlds worst corporation to deal with on the planet. I sent in a brand new drone (Phantom 4 Pro Obsidian) with 17 total minutes of flying time only to be sent a used unit back under the DJI Care refresh plan. After waiting 5 weeks, 1 week there, one week back, 3 weeks until they got their act together, I received a replacement drone. The day the unit arrived it was missing the props which were part of the replacement plan, ok no problem, I have an extra pair. I began to update the firmware of this replacement drone and noticed the fan was not coming on, waited a few more minutes and a main board and IMU error appeared on the screen with a “send to DJI for service” notification. Called tech support and sure enough, it was a faulty unit and I would need to send it back for another replacement, after waiting 5 weeks. I called and started a complaint with a supervisor who promised another unit would be overnighted since it was clear the replacement unit was faulty. Another week goes by and nothing. Call them back numerous times in between only to be given the run around and told multiple different stories by different reps along with more promises of expediting which never materialized. Long story short, this scenario has played out numerous times and is well documented all over the internet, with the exception of here on Amazon. There are countless DJI service horror stories everywhere, particularly YouTube, search YT for countless horror stories. You’re better off with a personal articles policy from a reputable insurance company for much less money and full replacement coverage without the DJI hassles you will surely have. If you’re thinking about buying DJI Care Refresh, I can point you in a much better, quicker, and cheaper direction, than this ridiculous policy which does nothing but waste time. I have purchased a FULL coverage policy for under $70 which offers full replacement value even if the unit falls into the ocean and unrecoverable, including out of country. DJI requires the drone back in order for the unit to be replaced under the refresh policy. This is not always possible especially if you fly over water. For the record, the drone was purchased here on Amazon, the policy direct from DJI.

search online before you by a DJI Product
I wish I had looked for negative reviews online before I bought from them. I purchased this Care Refresh plan directly from DJI along with my phantom 4 pro. I was a gleaming, proud owner of that drone until I had to deal with their service Dept. in North America.Imagine buying a brand new MERCEDES BENZ and afterwards discover that their warranty plan is only good if it is serviced by: "FAT CHUCK'S USED TIRES AND DOUGHNUT SHOP ."Actually, I would have prefered to deal with Fat Chuck than this DJI North America Service Center in Cerritos, CA. .....the only choice you get with this plan.Once they get your product for service , they lie, cheat and steal, keep your drone on the warehouse floor while they send you false update emails. They write false repairs on their work orders. You will catch them red-handed but they will continue to repeat lies until you just give up and accept their shoddy service.You know , if you own a drone, you will have to have it serviced one day.Do yourself a favor before you buy a DJI Product , search google for DJI Service Dept complaints on YouTube and blogs, forums...or if you want to save some time, just google these two words "DJI LIES" and you will get more than 4 million results, the first being on DJI's very own Forum.........Good Luck, you'll need lots of it, and even more of patience if you buy this.(Over 400 complaints with BBB at the time of this writing)
