IMHO square works a little better than hex or triangle.
Lighting your tube with a propane torch may be an issue for some/many, but once past that, smoke tubes are magic, work as advertised. Get one or two. The six inch tubes are plenty for most work. For a quick steak, a burger, or some chicken or veggies, fill it half full, set it on the grill (any grill) light it, and then enjoy the taste and aroma. Meanwhile, head of marketing and Mr. Inventor might ought to study up on humor and MeToo.

Great Little Tool
This has worked excellent for the purpose I intended. I use it to cold smoke in an old Outers smoker without using the electric heating coil. It burns more than two hours for me with hickory pellets when I pack it full, even as long as three hours at times. Refilling works great to extend the smoking period. I have cold smoked as long as 6 hours with one refill. I wish it had a stainless steel cap to hold pellets in, but I make one out of aluminum foil.

Excellent product that does not roll around
This is an excellent product. I also own the a-maze-n pellet tube smoker (12 inch) but prefer using the smokincube tube smoker because they do not roll around in the smoker or grill. This is my second purchase of this product because one can be used in the smoker and I can fill the next one, have it ready and then change them out as I do not like refilling them when they are hot as I tend to touch the hot tube when attempting to refill them.

perfect fit
this smoker was just what i was looking for its the perfect since for a reasonably quick dinner unlike the much bigger ones for smoking something all day. also since its not a round or hexagonal tube it doesn't roll away and drop smoldering pellets everywhere like others i have owned.

These products are fantastic if you are an avid griller like myself, I consider them a must have when grilling gas or charcoal once you use it cant stay away from it, hot or cold smoked foods you just can't beat

Allows me to re-up on smoke pellets
Allows me to re-up on smoke pellets, as I set it up on the grill grate - just spoon more in. Also, the pellets don't burn up as fast as putting it right on the coals.

works great. I got it to use in a Masterbuilt Bullet Smoker. It works much better than the little one built in. I just lay it next to the element and it doe its thing.
