BISSELL Refresh Manual Sweeper - Pirouette, 2199,Blue

This is the easiest little sweeper to use and it works much better than you'd think. I use it for spot cleaning and high traffic areas, manages to pick up everything nicely, even on bare floors.

Oh my goodness! I really like this sweeper! I remember my mother having one when I was a kid in the early 70s. I like how convenient it is, no need to always get the broom and dustpan. I use them on the rugs that my vacuum would destroy and it works well on ceramic tile and on my hardwood floors! Easy to use and empty. I have only one little issue; I wish they had an extra piece to make the handle longer. I’m really pleased with this sweeper.

These are great - while they last anyway. It picks up most everything a lightwt vacuum would. Its important to clean the brushes after every use. Its a little tricky to empty the trays. Eventually you won't be able to clean the brushes and then they bend & fall off. My main issue w these is the flimsy pole handle; its 3 pieces (unnecessary) and thin metal bends easily & tulips out at each connection point so that you can no longer screw them back together.I'm happy with these as long as the brushes & handle hold up.

I bought this item & it lasted a lil over a month. Parts started falling out of it while in use.Do not recommend buying.

Works great, but would be much better if it was much stronger, love all of the brushes for the pet hair, easy to empty and cleans rather well lightweight easy to handle no loud sound like a vacuum

The media could not be loaded. I read the reviews before I purchased the sweeper so I knew how bad the handle was before I bought it. And yes the handle is realllly short, but all the other sweepers I looked at had the same problem. I would like to add that the handle grip doesn’t screw on. It doesn’t have any threads… I can fix that with super glue and it shouldn’t be a problem.As for its sweepability, I literally only got it to clean a washable rug that is too thin to vacuum and too big to take outside and shake everyday. And it works perfectly. I did however try it on the hard wood to see how it worked and it did not. It just pushed dirt forward. This should only be used on carpet. I should probably add that I have a dog and 2 cats and it did an awesome job at picking up all the fur in the carpet.I saw in another review that the roller fell out on the first use… I will say this happened to me too but it was because the handle was bent in the wrong direction. I don’t really know whySomeone posted a video of this sweeper picking up oatmeal and that’s what really sold me on this sweeper, so I tried it out too. Only I didn’t have oatmeal so I used grits. And not a single grit was left behind!So yeah even tho the handle needs work, I’m giving this sweeper 5 stars. I knew it was gonna be short when I got it so the business end is all that really mattered to me. Thank you!

This item, the manual sweeper, works very well. It sweeps up even the tiniest particles with no chords trailing behind. I had considered one in the past, had seen one online, ordered it to give it a try, and I'm really impressed. It works great on bare floors and our low non-shag room size rug. You will have to keep the rotating brush underneath clean though. I'd recommend this sweeper to anyone who is thinking of trying it. And it would likely be a good gift to give to someone.

I wanted to love this. And for the 1 day that it worked, I did. But after 1 day of use by children, it is now unusable. The middle brush roll fell out within 24 hours of me putting it together and the handle bent. Also the handle is ridiculously short. It did a decent job of picking up small paper scraps and small pieces of lamination off of my classroom floor, but that's where the good ended. I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and will likely be returning it.
