I’ve used texture powder from a few different companies but this one is my favorite by far. Gives texture and volume and is reworkable throughout the day. Other powders I’ve used make your hair super clumped together and impossible to move your hands/fingers through. This brand doesn’t clump your hair up which is why it’s my favorite. I have straight hair, I’ve used it with longer hair (past ears) and short hair, works good for both lengths. I’ve also used it in wet and dry hair. I prefer applying it to wet hair and styling that way but both ways work well.

This product works just as well as it is advertised. It adds an insane amount of volume to your hair, while holding it in place at the same time. You can even restyle your hair without adding anymore hours after putting it in. As a man with thick, wavy hair, a little went a long way for me. However, my friend with much straighter hair needed more to get the same results. As to the reviews complaining about the amount in the bottle, this should not be a problem unless you are using an ungodly amount, because, as I said before, a little goes a long ways. It’s a great product and I will definitely buy again.

I have always thought my straight, fine hair would never have any texture or volume without tons of stiff hairspray. I was wrong!! Doesn't take much of this product, and works all day.

Love the Slick Gorilla in general. This powder lasts a while, gives a a very matte, and tacky feel that is great for not wanting a greasy or shiny feel and lasts for days (especially if you don’t shampoo out). The frustrating knock here is the amount you get. It’s like Lays chips (1/2 air). As you can see in the picture, $20+ for just over 1/2 full is a miss. Will search for others that give the same, but more for your $

Dude, this stuff is a total game-changer for my hair! It keeps everything in place all day long, which is awesome. I used to hate how greasy other products made my hair feel, but not anymore. Seriously, I can style my hair without feeling like I need to wash it immediately after. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
