Bought 2 monitors at same time and both failed the same way within 6 month of purchasing
I bought 2 of these monitors for a triple monitor setup. These monitors where not my main monitor, so I turned the Hz down to 60 Hz as I did not need it to be at a constant 165 Hz. Everything was fine for about2 or 3 months and then I started getting horizontal lines as showed in the picture.I tried different HDMI cables, DisplayPort cables, reinstalled drivers, tried on a different PC, tried multiple GPUs (2070 super, 3080, & a 3080Ti ) all to no avail. The only thing that seemed to work was turning up the Hz from 60 to something higher. And that was only a temporary fix because the horizontal lines would eventually come back, at which point I would have to turn the Hz up to the next notch to get rid of them.My first monitor I eventually had the Hz maxed out and the horizontal lines came back, so there was nothing I could do troubleshooting wise but try the second monitor I bought. The second monitor failed int he exact same fashion. After about 2 - 3 months horizontal lines started to appear and the only thing that could get rid of them was turning up the Hz/FPS on the monitorNote: During my troubleshooting, the monitor's power cord was plugged in but I disconnected the HDMI cable and the notification that pops up saying "No HDMI/DisplayPort detected," or whatever it says, had the horizontal lines without even being connected to the PC.Pretty sure they used (for the lack of a better term) cheap compactors that seem to have blown way earlier than a standard monitors life expectancy. It was the cheapest monitor with these types of features, so I guess they had to cut cost somewhere, which I am now seeing first hand.

This thing rules
I did a ton of research on models and specs and whatnot. The bottom line for me was my budget. I wanted a 27-inch monitor for my main bedroom for movies and gaming. I have an MSI 24-inch 144 Hz monitor with more pixels, and it was more expensive than this monitor and is nowhere close to the picture quality or speed. I mean, this monitor pops with colors and no ghosting with the correct settings that are easily found on youtube. I don't think you can get a better monitor for the money. Just youtube the model, and you'll see many tech dudes much more qualified than myself say the same thing. You can BARLEY see some pixels if sitting close to the monitor, but you must consciously look for them. That is the sacrifice you make for the colors and speed at this price range. If that sort of thing bothers you, you will have to spend more money or loss quality or size. If you want a budget multi-use monitor, stop looking because you found it.

Monitor went out after 4 months of use
**UPDATE***tl;dr version - monitor out after a few months, gigabyte won't provide shipping back to them, cost of shipping more than monitor, Amazon agrees this is lemon and issued refund. Will not be purchasing any more Gigabyte products due to their not standing behind their products.**END UPDATE***Monitor was great until it wasn't. Started having issues a few days ago that have gradually gotten worse.Bottom half of monitor is now filled with jumping lines from left to right. Even with no video cable between the monitor and computer it has the issue.***UPDATE***As much as I've loved Gigabyte's products they've left a bad taste in my mouth on this one. Verified monitor under warranty, *but* I have to pay to have it shipped back and will receive a refurb unit as a replacement. Think I'm gonna take my lumps on this and buy a monitor from a company who will stand behind their product.

No flaws yet
Both screens have served me well over the last couple years.

Completely dead in 9 months
This was a great monitor, while it lasted. Used for gaming and home use, and in nine months, it was totally dead. Now I have to figure out how to pack it, pay to ship it back (and insure it) and MAYBE they'll either repair or replace. I wish I had never bought this one!ETA: Trying to get customer service from this company is ridiculous. I've had to set up logins for three different portions of their site. You ask a question and it's several days before they answer you. After 10 days of back and forth in customer service, they tell me I'll have to submit a request for a return....on yet another site! AND, I'm trying to fill out the form and it's telling me the serial number isn't valid. This is a joke! They're making it intentionally difficult to get a return authorization so I won't follow through and return.

Fine while it works, which isn't a very long time
The image is not too bad when the monitor isn't busy bugging out. However, it doesn't take long before it does start bugging out. The first time I had this monitor, it took about a year before a solid black line appeared at the bottom of the screen. Fortunately, I got it RMA'ed and got it up and running again. Unfortunately, it has been about a year since the replacement and it has started to break down again. If I lower the refresh rate to anything less than 170 Hz, the horizontal lines appear. So while the price is fairly cheap, I don't think it's worth buying this monitor. I think many other monitors have better bang-for-buck and work better. So if you do purchase this monitor, I wouldn't expect it to last more than 1 year plus some change.
