Love it
I love fountain pens. This ine writes so smooth. I use my fountain pens in my art. Smooth lines are a must. Nice ink flow, love the reusable cartridge. Cuts down on the plastic use. I would love to see a vaccuum fill fountain pen from Picasso. Please make one. I will buy it.

Great aesthetic!
I read some reviews, like I am sure all of you are doing, and I decided to give this pen a go. I had read that it has a smooth writing flow, and it sounded like a nice pen to try. I got the blue marble style, and it is beautiful! I love the aesthetic of the pen, and the weight is a a bit heavier than others which i like. When writing, I have found that the pen looses ink sometimes and can get choppy. It also seems to have lines that fade to more grey sometimes, with noticibly less ink flow. It is not as smooth as I was expecting from reviews. I have tried the Picaso ink cartridges and noodlers black ink, both about the same with choppyness and greying.Based on others reviews, I wonder if trying other inks might solve this flow issue. I wouldnt' say I want to return the pen, it does work, and is functional. But I also wouldn't say I am satisfied with the way it writes.Edit: I've used it for over a week now, and after fishing the pen with water and putting in a new picaso cartridge, it seems to flow better. There is a tad bit of scratchyness, but overall it had improved from my first impression. Added a star.

A great pen, though not as "fine" as others
I only have two fountain pens: the Pilot Metropolitan (classic black, fine nib), and this one--so I have to compare them.Look and feel: Picasso wins. The Pilot is boring and looks more like a tapered cigar than a pen. The Picasso grip is slightly thinner, which I like. Uncapped, the Pilot weighs 16 grams, the Picasso 19.5 grams, not much difference there. Sliding the cap on the Picasso is more enjoyable; it feels like a better seal. I'm using ink cartridges with the Pilot, and the Picasso has the twist type converter, which I prefer (it's a bit more romantic). (I'm using Parker Quink Blue-black ink.)How they write: Though both pens claim to be "fine", the Picasso is really more of a medium. The Picasso writes a bit smoother given the larger nib. I just prefer the finer line of the Pilot. This frustrated me initially because I liked everything else about the Picasso. Then, for some reason, I tried the Picasso upside-down (using the back of the nib), and surprisingly the line is solid and slightly finer than the pilot. There's a little more friction and the ink doesn't flow as easily, but I can see myself writing this way whenever I use the Picasso. (This also affords the ability to sometimes write in bold using the thicker line.)Bottom Line: If you're ok with more of a medium line, definitely go with the Picasso. If you're willing to compromise for the better look and feel of the Picasso by writing upside-down for a finer line, go with the Picasso. Otherwise go with the Pilot.

The pens great but the gold rubs off quickly.
Writes well, easy to load with new ink and feels sexy. One small qualm I have with it is the gold on the tip rubs off so easy. Why not just make it Silver?

Great for looks, okay for usage...
Overview:5 stars for looks, material, and feel of the pen, but the nib and feeder is a 3-star.Pros:The construction material is very solid. Does not feel poorly from the barrel to the converter. The design, both on the outside and inside, is beautiful and makes the user feel like the pen should cost more than $21.The converter is an international converter, which is very useful if ever need a replacement, and function properly when filling to full capacity.Cons:The pen runs very dry. It needs adjustment if the user prefers wet.Occasionally the pen would skip for quick gestures. I'm not a speed writer and yet this would still happen. The nib does not run smoothly on paper. It's a little bit scratchy and provides some resistant when writing, even more than with a mechanical pen. Conclusion:If you're looking for a fountain pen mainly for looks and occasional usage, this is THE PEN FOR YOU. If you like your pen to be functional for frequent usage, I recommend getting a Pilot Metropolitan Medium ($9-$14) or a TWSBI ECO Fine ($27-$32) fountain pen. Both would sever you better than this decorative device. (Pilot fountain pen are Japanese standardize, therefore the medium nib is a westerner fine nib.)

Really like but…
I really like the pen but the marble is more like someone splattered a blue iridescent paint on it instead of a marble. It’s still really pretty but just letting you all know.

Me gustó mucho.
