no spinning lens!
i have recessed fixtures and all the other bulbs have lenses that rotate freely so that i cant get a grip on the bulb to turn it to snap into the socket! these phillips have a fixed lens so that i could take a piece of duct tape for grip and turn it into locking place. great quality of light as well! A+

I was looking for these type of light bulbs with the light that is in between yellow and white (bright white) These are perfect.

What you expect, but a bit low on light
My apartment has this style of light, and when a bulb died, I had to go on the hunt. The first store was selling one of these for close to $20, so getting 3 for $12 felt much better.Hey, it's a light, so what do you expect. I was disappointed that the light output didn't match my remaining bulbs, but I can't knock the product for that, just beware if you're buying this to add to existing lights, it's not as bright as I would like.To it's credit, if you want more light, buy a bigger wattage right?

FLICKER when used with Broan hood!
My Broan hood came with standard MR16 bulbs. You will get FLICKERING replacing both bulbs with this LED version of MR16. I tried one of this and one regular and it works. Definitely brighter but both lights turn on and off very differently! My best guess is one of this and one of the lower lumen version should work but I haven't tried myself. Hope this helps!

Won't work for Broan Glacier range hoods
I usually like Phillips bulbs but these are not usable for the very common Broan Glacier range hoods. The neck is just a little too short. I spent an hour trying to install. Eventually found another GU-10 bulb (Sylvania) with a slightly different shape that worked.So it's not really a problem with the bulbs, but if you're buying for your range hood, just be aware they might not fit some models.

Flicker bad
Tried all 3 in the pack, and all flickered. Other brands in the same circuit, and in the same socket, don't. I was really disappointed and returned them. I bought them because they were brand name, but the Amazon essentials worked better. Avoid these.
