ARK SkincareAge Defy Brightening Cleanser, For Mature Skin, Hydrating Daily Cleanser with Vitamin C, Red Algae & Blackcurrant, 200ml

This Ark skin cleanser is really nice, been using this for a couple of years now and it really does the job. Pricey but worth it and it has no nasty chemicals in it either, lasts a while and leaves skin really soft.

This is an excellent product. It feels lovely in the skin and seems to get creamier with the wet face. It leaves my skin feeling very comfortable. I’ll be using this from now on.

I'm quite impressed with this ARK face cleanser.After religiously using it in the morning and evening instead of my usual face cleansers for a week now I can safely say that it does two things to me:-smooths my face which is really nice to touch - very soft-calms down my skin in terms of rednessPlus of course it cleanses it.In terms of consistency and use - it is cream like when applied, doesn't generate massive foam and it's definitely creamy when washing.It is very easy to rinse off, which I was afraid might be not the case due to its consistency, but no - no issue.My skin reacts to it well and is definitely calmer.There's the smell which I know but cannot name. Can't say if I like it or not but I smell it mostly during the washing, not after.I'd say give it a go. Might not the be the cheapest (approx £24) but 200ml bottle will last as you don't need much.

I've tried a number of ARK products, and have liked the overwhelming majority.This is the first one specifically targeting my over-50 age-group.Since reaching this time of life, I've been noticing some skin sensitivity and redness, so have been switching to gentler products.This is a white, almost odourless, cream cleanser, that you massage into a damp face, rinse or wipe off with a wet cloth, then repeat.I'm slightly disappointed the scent isn't a little more prominent or luxurious, but gentle products tend not to have a lot of fragrance, in case it causes irritation.I don't particularly like using a face-cloth, but didn't find it easy to rinse off thoroughly with just water, so I think a cloth is needed in this case. I also don't really like having to cleanse twice. I'll probably scrap the repeat step, as it takes twice as long and uses twice as much product.It does feel quite mild and gentle to use, and my skin feels clean and quite soft afterwards.I don't think I can see any improvement after a few days, but at my age, I didn't expect miracles.

Easy to use and doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I apply to wet skin and use a gauze cloth with water to remove. Do not need a lot so I think it will last a while.

It's a rinse-off cream. My skin, which is mid 60s dry and a bit sensitive, loves it feeling really comfortable afterwards. (Usually after any contact with water I can feel it tighten uncomfortably in seconds.) The smell is nice, understated, and expensive. Sorry but I don't have the vocabulary to describe it any better.The pump is a little over-generous, and I'm finding a careful half a pump is enough for my face/neck.It isn't cheap (current price £24.69), but if you have the money to spend I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This ARK Skincare cleanser is very gentle on my sensitive skin. It is also hydrating and leaves skin feeling super clean and fresh. It comes in a bottle with pump for easy dosage and is a good value for money. I will definitely order more skincare from this brand.Highly recommended!Thank you for reading my review. Couples with some other ARK skincare products I've been using this cleanser to good effect for the last month.Admittedly I'm nearer 40 than 50 but this is still working well for me. It has a pump dispenser which works well and a single pump is enough for my face. It applies easily to damp skin and after washing off leaves my face feeling super clean, refreshed and moisturised without being overly tight.I am sometimes susceptible to irritation from certain products but this has caused me no issues at all and has only produced positive results.Given that a single pump covers my face this should last a while - good value for money and a great product.Happy to give this 5 stars - recommended!
