You may be able to open it up and see what’s jamming it up. It should pump air out the tube when you operate it. You can read vacuum when you hook it up to a vacuum source but it will not pump down for vacuum. Some have a switch that allows you to pump down vacuum.

I don’t know. The only pump that I am sure of it’s place of origin is the “shower pump” and it is made in England. I am surprised that no one at Amazon can answer this question. Isn’t the manufacturer on the box?

Is there a way to calibrate the gauge?
