Soap dispenser, OPERNEE Automatic Touchless Stainless Steel Fingerprint Resistant IR Sensor Hand Free Auto Soap Dispenser Perfect for Kitchen and Bathroom (Stainless Steel)

Soap Dispenser worked fine for one week. Then it would not stop dispencing soap. Turned it off, cleaned it thoroughly, turned it back on... still keeps dispensing soap with no motion around it. Repeat process to no avail. Lost half bottle of soap on counter, dispenser is useless. Good idea, was great for the first week.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So after returning this product (money back of course) and purchasing a second time this product has once again failed. The first time it failed by somehow not being able to push the soap through the clear tube inside; I believe a leak was occurring somewhere inside since there was soap coming out of the inside bottom (above the batteries). So then when I got the 2nd one, it looked a little different, a little taller and a few other differences. Not sure if the 2nd one was the "upgraded" or second gen one or if the 1st one I had was. Now with the 2nd one it worked flawlessly for 2 weeks, and then it just started dispensing on its own.... I eventually discovered that it would dispense soap when I turned the light on then off (located in the bathroom). It seams that the light on the ceiling has caused the sensor to constantly malfunction; but then it started dispensing soap in the dark, so I'm not sure what to make of it.... So I made a short video. I also will note that I only ever used clear Soft Soap. Extremely disappointed to say the least. The only reason I did not give this 1 star is because it was great when it worked.

I bought this soap dispenser hoping mine would not have the major fault the others have mentioned on Amazon. Unfortunately this was not the case. Within 24 hours of filling the reservoir with a liquid soap product, it leaked through the battery compartment without any hope of saving the unit. Emailed Opernee, a "replacement" is on the way. Still no tracking # 5 days after.Word to the wise......proceed with caution with purchase of this product. It is heavily copied under different brand names here on Amazon.com.. Most I presume are junk like the one I received. On a positive note, perhaps the only one, the electronics worked as described by the manufacturer before they went totally wonky with the leak. If you don't mind rolling the dice.....Update 1/3/18.....received replacement today and it works as it should. Just hoping it will last. Thanks OPERNEE.

not a good product. Upon opening the product it did not even seem to be "new" i had a sneaking susspission that it was a return that may have been refurbished and resold as new. When i removeved the protective film from the motion sensing lense i found it to be very scuffed up... strange when the protective film was fine.Design is stupid they put the buttons to adjust the amount of soap that comes out upon each dispersion right on the top of this dispenser, this is a dumb place because every soap dispenser in the world you push on the top to dispense soap... so every time a guest uses this, their instinct is to push that button on the top, like they always do. So you either need to put a sign next to your soap dispenser explaining it's automatic or give a verbal explanation to everyone who comes to your house... pretty lame... why didn't you put these buttons on the back or bottom... no thought in this design.Oh, also it doesn't work. broke after less than a week and we are returning it.

I purchased two of these, the first one after a few weeks started dispensing on its own leaving a pool of soap. I tried to get warranty service, after contacting Amazon customer service and being informed it really was not warrantied but they would send a replacement because they were doing me a favor I did get a replacement. The last original dispenser started dispensing on its own in the middle of the night in our master bath waking me up and forcing me to leave it in the sink so the cleanup was easier, so both had the same issue just a different time span. I would run away from this dispenser, I am throwing mine away.

Great idea, poor execution. It looks great and has started some conversations when friends come over to visit. Using it is a different topic. For the longest time, you would place either your hand, or sponge under the spout, the dispenser would make it's normal sound as if soap is coming out, and nothing happens. You place your hand or sponge underneath for a second time and viola, soap comes out. Now, you place your hand or sponge to receive soap and you now get about a 1/3 of the soap in the dispenser. It's okay for now, but I will be buying another soap dispenser soon, that is not the same brand as this one.***UPDATE 5/22/2018***After reviewing this product, I was contacted by what I can assume to be the company but felt more like a 3rd party customer service automated deal. I was asked a few questions about my product, gave some suggestions on how to possibly fix it, and asked if I could report back. I did the suggestions and still, no fix, so I responded back to the company with my results. I'm sure this isn't your typical customer service rep, meaning, every single correspondence between myself and the "company" was as if I was reading a letter a 3 year old wrote, blind folded. The "company" asked the same question several times after I clearly answered them 2 emails ago.Since my product was within the 1 year warranty, they did send me a replacement product BUT, they never told me they were. I answered an email, and did note in the email that I had answered several of the questions already to them, and never heard back. So I waited a few days before I was going to try and reach out again and there it was, a new product in my mailbox. So is this one any better? Not really. I've tried several soaps, all while thoroughly cleaning it out each time, and it still works on the 2nd attempt the majority of the time.I'll leave this product at 2 stars. The lack of a personal interaction with a "customer service rep", and product still not preforming well leaves me to stay at my rating. I really wish I could add more stars because the product does look really nice in our kitchen but as the old saying goes, "it's all looks and no brains."
