Fast Workhorse Gaming machine! Ready to go out of box!
Wanted to wait a week before I wrote this review. The machine arrived in a very large box, upon opening I was very impressed the actually box the machine was in was packed into the larger box like a cocoon. And it was immediately evident that absolutely no damage had been done during shipping. The machine itself is very large the case has this very sci-fi look and the side window gets lots of "oohs" and "ahhs" from all who see it. The green lighting is also fantastic at night the lighting gives this awesome green effect on the room of my room. The machine was ready to go out of the box and started up right away only requiring a windows update to be battle ready. Its an extremely fast well built machine I am currently playing Star Wars the Old republic, Star Trek Online and World of Warplanes at their maximum settings with no problems. The provided mouse and keyboard were also very cool! The mouse contoured to my hand perfectly and the actual mouse buttons extend slightly ahead of the mouse so in tight moments your fingers slide quickly into attack position! And the red glow is truly an awesome effect! The keyboard is very rugged and well made all the keys respond well and their are keyboard shortcuts on the sides of the keyboard that do things like: open your E-mail, Open the calculator, Mute the speakers and much more! The only reason I gave this review four stars instead of five is this: One of the monitors I run is VGA when I went to plug the monitor into the graphics card the card sunk back into the machine slightly requiring me to pop the case off and tighten the graphics card down. However the VGA hookup is still in kind of a weird position and it was difficult to get the VGA hookup to seat properly. Besides that one very, very minor thing I am extremely happy with the machine and my purchase I will definitely be buying from iBUYPOWER again!
