Auriculotherapy Manual

The writing is fluent, and the treatment of the subject matter, not bad. The front cover boasts of "3-D images of the Ear." These are simply depictions of the silicone ear models that acupuncture students use for needle practice--I was expecting something more & different, though still an upgrade from black-and-white line drawings. The font size is unusually large (about 14- or 15-point Times Roman, I guess), which no doubt contributes to the page-count and cost. The "new" copy that Amazon sent me actually bore a small tear on the front cover, which also had some signs of wear and tear; the back cover has a sticker over the original bar code: signs of NOT newness??

This book would be GREATLY helped of the pictures were in COLOR. I thought these would be. I am disappointed that all the photos are black and white (and some kind of fuzzy), it would greatly help this book. I would NOT have spent $85 on this.

The BEST book I have ever purchased and I buy a lot of self help and medical books. My family and I use this book daily! It is written so professionally yet still down to Earth for the general public. I've used this book to help my husband with his asthma!!

My wife is a Wholistic Wellness Practitioner and this is one of her favorite books. I hesitated when I saw the price, but got it for her anyway. (After all, a happy wife is a happy life.) and I am very glad I did. She uses it constantly. It is thorough, complete, easy to understand and use, and has both the European and Oriental systems (points and also meridians). It came with a great chart. Highly recommended for anyone who is more than just a dabbler.

THOUGHT THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK! IT WAS VERY IMFORMATIVE! COVERED A WIDE RANGE OF INFORMATIION AND FOR THE MOST PART IT WAS EASY TO UNDERSTAND. THE ILLUSTRATIONS AND PICTURES WERE VERY IMFORMATIVE AND HELPFUL. I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WANTING TO STUDY AURICULOTHERAPY.

Great book on auriculotherapy. Dr. Oleson really has a great understanding of the subject and presents it in a way which is incredibly easy to follow. A must have for anyone interested in this field!

This is an amazing resource for auriculotherapy. I have owned early editions, but it was time to get the most updated version. Thank you, Terry Oleson for sharing your expertise.The seller provided the book quickly and it arrived well packaged.

Excellent reference book for my Refleology practice.

This book was recommended to me by my tutor, when I saw the price I gasped. Now that I have browsed through the pages I have not regretted this purchase, I am sure you will be impressed too.

Very useful, I think one of the best books on auricular acupuncture. However, it lucks certain things, its content is based on the Nogier theory, ignoring so many new knowledge, theoretical and practical, on the subject. Still, one of the best books.

I gave this a 3 star base on the following:a. The book contains extensive information on how points were derived at. The book could have been made a lot less expensive if this was not included. I think most would be more interested in treatment methods which the book is very deficient in.b. Photos are in black and white, and some points are in a slightly different location from one photo to the next.c. The book contains gratuitous male nudity from all angles. The nudity is not required to demonstrate anything that could not have beenachieved if the model had a bathing suit on, but for some weird reason the author wanted to put a nude male in his book. There is no female nudity in the book.A positive about the book is that is lists both Chinese and European points, but having said that it does not go into which work best for what ailment, and as mentioned the book is highly deficient in treatment methods using ear acupuncture.
