Very sturdy just what my husband needs to get into the car.

This product is used for getting in & out of the car, very sturdy, but my husband found it was too long for the job as he struggled to get in & out, because of the length of the handle. The car door is a wide opening and my husband is a very slight man, so someone who is on the heavier side may have a problem. But altogether a very go addition to your car safety.

Didn’t fit the car as too wide on the top due to light. Had to order a small one.

I bought a couple of these type of products for our Picasso and none would fit into the door catch until I did a load of research and found this. Comments I discovered about other models frequently mentioned that getting a car door mobility aid to fit any type of French car was a nightmare and several buyers had resorted to shaving metal off and reshaping just so that the metal bit was thin enough to fit into the door catch. For anyone looking for a possible answer to finding a mobility aid for Citroen, Peugeot or Renault, I suggest this item. Granted, it only fits in one way, but the important thing is that IT FITS!!! It does exactly what it is supposed to do without feeling flimsy or unsafe and it fits neatly into the side pocket on the door when not being used.
