We purchsed these stools for our outdoor summer kitchen - they are the perfect high, rustic yet comfortable, and seem they will hold up well (of course we will protect them in cold winter/snow months. Overall, we are very pleased with the quality for the price. Thank you

Apparently, I was reading so many bar stool reviews, that for some reason I thought they were 16X16... 12X12 is OK... But I prefer a more comfortable 16x16. Lucky I am kinda handy, didn't take too long to figure out that I could just run down to Home depot, grab some (dark stain), Some 3/4" Oak cabinet grade half a sheet, I had home depot rip it down in 16" sections. Used a jigsaw to round out the corners, sanded the edges, stained and sealed. Got 1.25" grabber deck screws and screwed them down from the ender side of the existing wood... Note: I could have removed the existing wood entirely, but the extra height was welcomed in my situation.Now these stools offer twice the comfort for a less than 30 bucks and a few hours of time. I was thinking of a way to make the seats removable. But, I am not going to stack these. So, if you do make the seats wider, you can't stack them. I guess you could maybe try to bolt them down with wingnuts or something. One would have to countersink the pancake bolt heads. Shrug....Reason why I gave them 5 stars is because the stools are very quality and sturdy and are the perfect height. I think adding the 3/4 inch makes them fit even nicer for height wise, also, we are looking for some 16x16 proper seat cushions as well. They arrived damage free, and well packed. Would buy again as they are very solid and well built. Happy with the purchase.

These stools look amazing and are very high quality. Definitely exceeded my expectations, especially for being so affordable. We ordered these because they were so cheap and they were going to be a temporary solution until we found some higher end stools but I think these and going to be staying for a while!

These just arrived a few days ago, but I have been impressed with them so far. They look great and feel sturdy (don't squeak or move). The wood finish on top is very nice. They're fairly lightweight too so they're easy to move, but still feel plenty sturdy. I also appreciate the rubber feet to protect the floor. Overall very satisfied with the purchase!

I've had these for years and they are so sturdy and look so good. The wooden tops are stunning and I used to stand on them to hang paintings and they didn't even rock. Love these and would buy again
