SystemBuildEvolution Kendall 24" Utility Storage Cabinet - White

I had previously purchased this cabinet about a year ago. I have been so pleased with this item that when the need for more pantry space arose again, this repeat purchase was a no brainer. It is well designed, has a great instruction booklet, and was an easy assemble. It is also well constructed and a solid build once it is put together. The height adjustable caster feet were a nice touch and especially the soft close hinges for the cabinet doors. This unit is well engineered & well crafted. My second assembly was just as easy as the first. I love the pre-drilled holes and easy remove labeled stickers on each part that makes assembly a breeze. Great, great product! The only down side was the INFLATED price on the second purchase approximately a year and a half later. In July 2023, I paid $176.83; in December 2024 I paid $205.86. And that was monitoring the current price for a while to catch it on sale.

These cabinets were perfect for use in our laundry room/pantry. We opted for two of the smaller cabinets to have more weight capacity for each shelf since were storing canned goods in them.The adjustable legs are great for uneven floors and they are very stable once anchored to the wall.They were easy to assemble except for the hinge adjustments which took a really long time and were not very intuitive. Some other reviewers have commented on the doors not hanging right or being crooked, but that can be fixed with the hinge adjustments. The hinge adjustments are what made the cabinets look really professional and good, so it was worth the time to do it right.There were a couple of very minor cosmetic imperfections like a dent the edges here or there when they arrived, but nothing that I notice using them daily.In the end I think they look great and work great and I’m very happy. Considering that a similar product from Home Depot that was designed for kitchen/pantry use would have cost about 4-5x more, these were a steal of a deal. I would 100% recommend them to others.

I live in a small house with very little storage and needed more pantry space. This was the best option to fit the space I had available. I've put together many pieces of flat-packed furniture so this wasn't difficult for me other than finding the floor space to lay it out. Once assembled it was fairly stable and the adjustable feet were very handy as our floors are a bit uneven. One of the doors was very bowed out of the box and was challenging to install. The shelves were easy to install but the hinges stick out a decent amount into the interior so keep that in mind if you're putting any organizing bins or shelves inside. The doors have a large gap between them, probably half an inch, when closed and there's no way to adjust it so you can still see the shelves even when it's closed. Overall it serves it's purpose and it was relatively affordable and easy to assemble despite the flaws.

Okay we recently moved into a new home, before doing so we did not take noticeb to the fact that it had absolutely no closets. Over the last couple of months I have put together a total of 9 self standing closet/pantry, an island. I decided to try this system as it appeared to match the cabinet below the sink.First I will start by saying it is very flimsy especially the back of the cabinet.Next issue or concern was it has unfinished edges (you can't see the edges and the top of the cabinet) but that doesn't mean it should be unfinished.Next issue was there are various scratches on the wood most of them thankfully were on inside wood pieces and there were 2 larger scratches/missing paint on the side of the cabinet.I did not have this issue with any other cabnet or the island that I purchased and put together. Also I did not cause the scratches myself as it was put together on a brand new carpet. I was extremely disappointed and I will likely never buy this brand again.Oh also none of the screws/ nails/ parts were labeled which was a nuisance to have to go back to the from page and compare to the picture to determine which went where.Daniell Lewis

Kudos to the designers! I know that a lot of products are manufactured like this these days, but I was nevertheless in awe at the genius of this product. I bought two of these for pantry use, and they were delivered on time and nicely packaged. Although I am not accustomed to assembling cabinets, I was able to put both of these together all by myself with a few simple (non-electric) hand tools. The instructions and diagrams were clear and well organized. I feel pretty accomplished! Mostly, I am just so thrilled to have the additional cabinet space I needed without being dependent on a hired hand.Regarding the hinges that other reviewers have mentioned, I didn't have any trouble at all with the first cabinet I put together; however, the second one was a little more challenging. My advice is to study how the hinges work from the outset, so you are not just shooting in the dark to get them to snap in place. Additionally, you may want to leave the small end of the hinge slightly loose when screwing it to the inside face of the cabinet; this will make it easier for the little hooks to make contact properly for the snapping in place to occur. It seems to me that any troubles with hinges are not related to the actual hinges but to slight variations in the pilot hole placement. That seemed to be my issue. If that can be verified as an impossibility, then it would have to be variation in user technique in driving screws and squaring things properly. Use a box or the bottom protruding edge of the cabinet to rest the door on while lining up the hinges for snapping together. All in all, this is a well-designed product, and I am a super happy customer!
