Fertilome (11772) Blooming & Rooting Soluble Plant Food 9-58-8 (1.5 lbs)

I was first introduced to this fertilizer by a neighbor when I lived in AZ. I was amazed at how well it worked and that got me to try to understand what each of the numbers in fertilizer is used for. You will note the high phosphorus (middle number) concentration in this fertilizer. Phosphorus is necessary for root growth and seed production. Desert climates (such as AZ) is low in this nutrient. Most fertilizers do not have anywhere near that high a number in phosphorus. While too much phosphorus could be an environmental hazard as excess phosphorus can run off into the water supply, that is not really that big a problem in deserts, and high phosphorus isn't a problem in terms of health of a plant as its difficult for plants to absorb it at a rapid rate.When I was living in AZ, I could find this at my local nursery (it is not sold in the major home improvement box stores), but where I currently live in NV, the local nursery does not carry it and I am a long way from any place that does. Thus I have to rely on Amazon.

This product was soooooo amazing. I had a plant that was really suffering after a transplant. I transplanted it and accidentally cut off a piece of its root in the process. It was slowly dying and I was so sad. After doing research, I found this product. I started seeing results after the first water. It began to grow again after being stunted. It is now big and beautiful thanks to this. Make sure to follow directions so you don't over do it. A little goes a long way. If you don't have many plants to water, just use a smaller amount of this fertilizer than recommended to not burn the plants. This product is the truth. You actually see results. Love it. It saved my plant baby 😁

I use this on my potted plants, once a week with other fertilizers.

Got the recommendation from a youtube video on how to create a large, hanging, petunia ball. The video said this fertilizer creates profusely large blooms. It definitely does!!!It gets addicting because once you stop using this, the normal blooms seem too small :P.Knocked the 'value' rating down from 5 to 4 because it used to be cheaper, but the price has been raised a bit too much, imho.Overall, works VERY well if you're ok with the prices.

This simple to use plant food is the best I have found for flowering container plants. It is easy to use and gives bountiful blooms and growth. Top notch product!

Price was gone WAY up since last purchase. I decided to still purchase since it worked so well. I just received it and disappointed it came in a bag not canister as pictured. The “reseal” DOES NOT seal back up AT ALL. I used 3 tsps and bag is only half full. I’m disappointed in the packaging so far hoping the quality itself is how I remember it.
