It's OK ...
I guess for $7 it's fine. For all the glowing reviews and claims, I hoped it would be better. There's still plenty of wasted garlic that doesn't squeeze through the press. The person who said it "juices" garlic, wasn't wrong. It performs just like the last unimpressive garlic press I had. This one is prettier, it feels heavy duty, and went through the dishwasher just fine. I'm just not sure what I'm achieving with this that I can't do with a chef's knife.

Finally I got one of these! GREAT product....very high quality.
I love to cook with fresh garlic but I am always too lazy to chop so I just use the jarred. I have been meaning to get one of these, especially when I cook with garlic so much. Having a garlic press makes life so much easier. I broke my last one so I had to purchase another one and I'm glad to have found a great quality garlic press at a great price. Works like a charm, lightweight yet a very solid garlic press. Very confident this will hold up with extensive use.

Does not function as good as it could.
the unit is built very well and will never fall apart,but, the space between the crusher handle and the strainer part is huge, so that the garlic ends up on the sides of the handle instead of coming out the grate. I should have went for the Zyliss, a much better product, although the price was resonable for this unit.
