It fits perfectly in my Dyson V10. Does not come with instructions, but I figured it out; you just unscrew the screw and pop the other side off. The quality of the silicone ring is really nice and the vacuum still vacuums well now that I've replaced it.The tool they included was actually decent quality, with a magnetic tip. I didn't need it as I already had a torx bit, so now I have an extra screwdriver floating around in "that" kitchen drawer, but I realize most people wouldn't have one and thus would not be able to use this product.

Got it in an emergency and it was super easy to replace the part. The rubber is slightly smaller but still pretty good, it sealed the vacuum same as the original part and the quality was decent too!
