Works well for the price. It will leak a bit from the top fold so if you don't have a way to keep it upright inside your pack it is not for you. In my pack's dedicated bladder pocket it worked well on a multi-day trip where water sources were sparse and I needed the 3-liter capacity. Taste seemed OK, given I was filtering desert spring water. You have to pull on the mouthpiece until it clicks to get it to open, then it needs to be pushed in to close, and if you let the hose hang without closing the valve, it will dribble a little. Minor self-training issue. All in all it does what I bought it for without costing an arm and a leg.

I've used this bladder on a couple of long hikes now and it's working great so far. No leaks. I love how you can pour water into it from the top or the smaller hole on the side. Love how large the bladder is. You can also remove the drinking tube to dry it out. Although it does not come with instructions on how to clean it. You get all these cleaning tools with it, but there are no instructions on how to use them. 12/1/18 the bite valve stopped working on the last 3 hikes I did with this bladder so I had to get a new brand bladder. Got tired of messing around with the bite valve of hikes.

Overall this product works great. Served me very well hiking around Colorado. Wide opening makes it very easy to clean/fill.However, I am not a fan of the slider along the top. It came loose while horseback riding and spilled water all over the inside of my bag. You cannot use the holes at the top to hang this from the loops at the top of your bag, it will come undone.

Very crappy hydration bladder BPA not certified so you're drinking hot plastic water when you're out hiking and camping they give you the cleaning tools to scrape the plastic clean that away when you fill it back up with water you're drinking plastic water again

bought this at the end of the hunting season last year so i just used it for the first time last week and the plastic taste was so bad it made me sick. i put a baking soda and lemon solution in it for a few days and it didn't help . it seems sturdy and i like the features but unless you love the taste of plastic try something else.

This thing functions so well. Only hard part was the holes where the bladder hangs were too small for my back packs swivels buttons but I just tied some loops with paracord, no issues. I love that I can clean it so well , because it will last, and that is great value for the price. I'm an avid hunter and I am so glad I had It, I can fill it once and go all day.
