The notion that 5 stars should be given for any product that lives up to expectations is somewhat silly. This belt does live up to expectations, but it's not the best belt on the market, and arguably not even the best at this price point. Thus the 4 stars. If you're waiting for "okay, but what's wrong with it?" - nothing. It's perfectly serviceable. It's just kind of expensive for what it is.41mm wide, 6mm thick, 8 rows of stitching, and pretty middle of the road for firmness. It is a belt. It's comparable to Fuji but with a deeper blue. I'd buy it over Sanabul, but it's not like it'll make the top of the cotton belts list on reddit or anything.

Definitely impressed with overall quality and price, thickness and stitching is great. will be a repeat customer as long they are available.

I purchased an A3 Purple belt from Gold BJJ. The material feels smooth and durable. I am happy with my purchase. I recommend.
