Bought my stovetop moka pot during a trip to Italy more than 20 years ago. Used it for less than 10 times after I purchased it. It was sitting there for more than 10 years and never being touched again until earlier this year. The original rubber gasket was found cracked and leaking.I saw the replacement gasket on Amazon and ordered the package right away. I then replaced the old one with the new silicon gasket. It's a perfect fit and the pot has been working nicely.

Some 40 years ago my relatives from Italy sent me the most beautiful traditional espresso pot. The top is either ceramic or porcelain, and beautifully painted with colorful flowers. The ( real) rubber gasket crumbled with time. I needed to replace it, unfortunately these silicone ones don't work. My mom says it's a 9 cup pot but maybe I'll never find a replacement gasket and will leave it as a show piece.

I finally ordered these, based on one of the customer reviews, but discovered their sizing must have been for another product. These are approx. 51mm ID + 66 mm OD + 7 mm ring width + 4 mm ring thick.

Stove top old school pot that was sputtering as the old seal deteriorated.- worked great - Just make sure the size is correct for your pot. I had to peel the old rubber ring off my pot's mesh filter -it was melted on.

Doesn't expand in the boiling process properly so it never gets an airtight seal.Bought for a prezetti moka pot exactly to size after they stopped selling their own gaskets in the US.
