This should work, but depending on the frequency that you are transmit on it may need to be trimmed and tested on a SWR meter.

Q: Do i need ngp coax or will regular coax work just fine?

Hello, this is a no ground plane antenna and it doesn't need a metal surface to mount to. As far as the coax cable that's used, a regular one will be fine.
