Was Skeptical but it’s Great!
At first I was worried about getting this stainless steel pan because I thought it wouldn’t do what I needed it to. I was looking for a healthy pan that I could get a nice sear on meats with. I was afraid the ridges wouldn’t be enough to make good sear lines but it is perfect! It gets dirty but cleans well when you soak it. The square shape of the pan doesn’t distribute heat as nicely as I would like since it’s bigger than my burner, but it gets the job done!

Fabulous. Can't recommend more
Great size for many different applications, and the stainless steel construct allowing this to be oven safe really means the possibilities are endless. I've used this for curry, braised beef, pasta, etcetc. Also super easy to clean -- the clad construct means the sides don't scorch easily and the shape and size are great for sauteeing / stirfrying. Great heat distribution. Really easy to clean too and really takes a beating. The only thing: be careful on induction as it's very responsive to induction and may burn easily if used on high settings. Keep this on medium and the heat will be sufficient for most purposes, even searing. Fortunately though the pot is quite thick so retains heat well. Overall not prone to burning and has been an absolute joy to cook with.

Sturdy tri-ply stainless is great on induction cooktop, perfect for stir-fry and leafy veggie sautes
When we got an induction cooktop, I needed new pots and pans. The Tramontina set I bought did not include a large saute cooker. I chose the metal lid rather than a glass one; I don't want to worry about lids breaking accidentally in my cabinet! My main use for this is either to cook down lots of leafy vegetables or to do stir-fries, but I have also made frittatas and omelettes for a family group in it. It cooks evenly and quickly on the induction burner. You need to use moderate heat (not really high) and I prefer real olive or avocado oil (in small amounts) to non-stick spray. If you let it cool, then wash it, it cleans up easily. To make it shine like new, I find that Barkeeper's Friend is very effective. So it is not quite as carefree as a nonstick pan... but (a) many such pans don't work on induction burners, and (b) you don't have the health concerns of some nonsticks. The more experience I have with it, the more I enjoy cooking with it. It is well constructed, and I believe it's as good or better than most more expensive pans. All in all, my Tramontinas are the best I have ever owned.

Love, Love LOVE- why have I been using crappy cookware for decades?
I love these. No joke - I'm wondering why I've 'suffered' for so long with anything but triple-ply, all clad cookware? Heavy duty, excellent quality, lifetime warranty, easy clean up, and even heat distribution all at a VERY REASONABLE PRICE! What's a cook not to like? From Amazon, I've only purchased this dutch oven style stockpot, but from a local "Mom & Pop" high-end cookware kitchen store, I've purchased 2 sauce pots, and 3 frying pans with lids all in the past 2 months. Wow- what a difference from the old Revere Ware (thin steel with copper bottoms) that was my parents set - the one I've been using for over 30 years. These tri-ply, fully clad cookware pieces from Tramontina are a JOY to use! They heat up QUICKLY and the construction is highly conducive to very EVEN heating of the entire pan/pot. I had to get used to that, hence I almost burned a few things! This cookware gets very hot, more so than I had ever noticed with my old wares. This construction makes for the quicker cooking of foods by way of even heat distribution, and I feel that you can achieve better cooking techniques and a higher quality of the dishes you prepare because of it. I was nervous that the stainless steel would be difficult to clean, but no... I'm amazed at how well these clean up if you soak them for a bit. Steel wool soap pads and some polishing agents (like Barkeeper's Friend, for instance), will do the trick if you're dealing with the removal of some stubborn, lingering charred food.

So sturdy!
I am in love with this brand! Very sturdy and thick, great quality, food cooks evenly with no sticking, washes well too. I think the price is definitely worth the quality of a good cookware. They look great too!
