Lovely Tequila as a lovely citrus taste 😋

The Tequila is presented in a nice volcanic designed bottle that has a light blue hue, it’s eye catching and striking up close with all the small details, it would look great in a display.For me, this tequila is predominantly peppery with some light sweetness and fruity characteristics - it does have a bit of a lighter viscosity but it's sharp and clean. It ideally works neat, but you could pair it with a little something sweet to bring out it’s citrus notes. However at this price point it might be a little on the premium side to be mixing.Overall, this is a sharper and stronger tasting tequila, it’s certainly less sweet than others I have tried and should really be enjoyed sipped and on the rocks for those that appreciate it or looking for a gift - but you could mix it if the peppery-ness is too overwhelming for you. It’s also imported by Moet Hennessy.

My days of throwing vast quantities of cheap tequila down my neck are, thankfully, long gone, and I am able to appreciate that a decent tequila is a drink to be savoured. This is one of those, for sure!A good quality tequila should always be rested for a minimun of seven days and this one is apparently rested for 30, which shows they are not in a rush to get it out and into shot glasses in student bars.I see several reviews on here recommending this tequila on the rocks, but for me it is best at room temperature, where you can really discern all the subtle tastes and scents that make it stand out. Don't keep it in the fridge, you will just lose some of the aroma and flavours.Good tequila is like good whisky, there are layers to discover as you sip it. This is without doubt a good tequila - if you're put off by the price, it probably won't be for you (and yes, I know that makes me sound like a snob!).I won't be using this tequila for cocktails or even for getting drunk as quickly as possible - this is one to (hopefully!) last me a while as a special treat on a chilly Autumn evening. When it does run out, as it sadly must, I am pretty sure I'll be back for more...

The first thing to notice is this tequila blanco comes in a gorgeous bottle. The label explains the story of the Tequila volcano and how it made the rich soil perfect for growing the agave the region is known for. Volcun De Mi Tierra translates into “land of the volcano” and ad an extra special detail the bottom of the bottle is shaped like Tequila volcano. This tequila is made from 100% pure blue agave taken from both the highlands and lowlands to combine for a unique flavour. Everyone experiences scent and flavour differently. For me, this has a lovely caramelised woody scent. The flavour is sweet with a hint of citrus and a warm hit of spice. It is very smooth and easy to drink. I feel it is best enjoyed on its own on the rocks as it's far too delicious to hide in a cocktail, but it can be enjoyed in any way that suits you. It is a truly gorgeous tequila made with love and care. It is worth every penny.

The bottle itself is attractive & screams quality, lovely thick glass with a blue tint to it and a lovely stopper lid. Another reviewer said the glass looked almost crystalised and I totally agree. The bottle itself is a great representation of the contents within. The Tequila is smooth, clean and fresh both in aroma & taste. I think this is one of the purest tasting Tequila's I have had. There are hints of grapefruit & pepper, with an overall woody flavour although this is not overpowering. This makes it very versatile and we tried it chilled on the rocks, in a Tequila sunrise & a margarita and it was just as enjoyable in all forms. Really impressed and I think it would make a lovely present for anyone who enjoys their Tequila.

First off have to say, absolutely stunning bottle! Love the blue accents and the glass itself looks almost crystalised. Wonderfully presented.Thankfully the drink inside is just as nice. I'm not usually the biggest fan of Tequila, usually going for a dark Rum or Vodka but this was nice, quite refreshing actually.I think if you were to give this to someone who really appreciates Tequila then this would go down very well. 5*!

I have some terrible memories of drinking Tequila as a teenager 🤦🏼‍♀️ Luckily this Tequila is much better quality than the cheap rubbish I used to drink!This Tequila has notes of pepper and grapefruit, I haven’t been brave enough to try it neat so I can’t really comment on that but it does taste great mixed in a cocktail.Reading about the blend and origin of this Tequila on the Amazon description you can see why it is so high in price. This is definitely a special bottle of alcohol to keep in for occasional drinking and not just downing it all on a Saturday night!The bottle is beautiful, I think this would be a lovely gift for someone who likes Tequila!
