Q: Can this filter be cut to accomodate a 72x18 aquarium that has the filter chamber in the back (approx 30"x3" in the back center of the tank)?

It works awesome in my 125 gallon tank the tubes that go up you will have to cut down easy to do but put the power head in 1st to see how much you will have to cut
