Amazon help for your fall begonias and dahlias
This fall in October, I took my begonia and dahlia tubes into my garage for the winter after the lst frost had touched the foliage. I then cut everything back to a quarter inch of ground level. I have found that just leaving them right in the tubs and pots they were blooming in on my deck, after 1st removing all stems and foliage, works just fine for wintering them over. I have started using a good coat of this flower and vegetable dust for antifungal and mildew protection and it has given me over a 90% wintering over success rate. It is so much less work than removing , cleaning the tubers or bulbs, then replanting next season. Then in the spring it is so easy to start them by just moving them into the green house in early March and starting to add a little moisture or water. This Bonide Garden dust was not available this year locally in Anchorage, and I was delighted to be able to easily order it from Amazon and have it promptly delivered right to my home. I bought a couple 1 lb cans. I highly recommend it from a track record of success.

not quite organic but close
This is an effective and fairly non-toxic anti-fungal anti-insect all in one product. You can dust it on your roses and lilies to prevent black spot and bortrytis, or mix it in water and spray it. My only complaint is that my local stores don't carry it and I have to order it online and pay postage. I don't want to use toxic chemicals and this is not bad. Use a mask when dusting to avoid inhaling it. It is toxic to fish so don't use near a goldfish pond.

this product does not go on green
I've been using dipel dust for years and even though it works good for japanese beetles the white color of it is unattractive on plants. I was thinking why can't they add green pigment so it blends in better. So when I saw this product advertised as being green in color I was happy to order it. It has a very slight green color in it's container but it applies very white on plants. False advertising
