Tape Relief...simply said but what a miracle for people allergic to adhesives!!
I can only say that Tape Relief Sport has been a miracle worker!! I recently had surgery and had to have bandages put on fresh daily. As the Itching increased day by day and my Dr. not knowing anything else to try besides bandages with "allergy free adhesive" and dreading any kind of tape put onto my skin I had to find relief. I sent for a tube of Tape Relief Sport and was so grateful for the relief it gave me. It doesn't take a lot so this 5 ounce tube will last longer than I thought. I won't be without this product in the future. Those allergic to adhesives on the skin should give this product a try. It's gentle,it works, and I won't be without it again!!

Seemed to work at first
My husband has a serious allergy to tape adhesive. Was hoping this would help. Well, it seemed to at first, but then appeared my husband has sensitivity to the tape relief.

Thank goodness for Tape Relief
So glad I found this stuff and a big thanks to reviewers! I've had reactions to therapeutic tape since I began using it, but I was able to live with it. Then I inadvertently bought some super adhesive takpe and had a terrible reaction that took 2 weeks to clear up. Since then I've been very sensitive to all tapes. With the Tape Relief, I still have a bit of reaction if the tape is on overnight, but it is very mild and generally only in little patches, not the entire length of the tape. I have been using a tape that is advertised as milder adhesive and it does seem better (though gives me a reaction without Tape Relief).I put it on fairly generously, then let it dry for several minutes. It does get powdery and provides a nice barrier.Tape Relief has allowed me to continue to use tape, which I really need for my bad lower back.

It works!
I developed a skin rash that sent me on a month's journey of antibiotics, lancing, antibacterial creams and bandages. I had to have it covered 24/7. I discovered through the experience that I have a reaction to the adhesives on bandages and tegaderm film. My skin did not like the prolonged exposure. So I was developing a 2nd rash. In trying to find bandages for sensitive skin, I stumbled upon this Tape Relief. I was desperate enough I decided to give it a go. I have to say I'm mighty impressed.I did not get it in time to use it with the tegadeem film or medical tape, I'd "graduated" to regular bandages by then. I use flexible fabric bandages because in the past they've stayed on the best and never irritated my skin (I'd had some very minor issues with the plastic bandages before this).Tape relief worked great with the flexible fabric! I would put on Tape Relief after cleansing and drying the wound, as directed (shake, apply thin layer). I would then apply the antibacterial cream and tend to anything else with my wound and by the time I was done the Tape Relief would be dry enough to apply a bandage. My skin was much happier with this.I have used Tape Relief on my hands before applying bandages (lucky me, I found poison ivy a month later! Sigh). I'm in my late 40s so my skin on my hands is starting to thin a bit. I found with using Tape Relief, it never felt like I was pulling on the skin when I removed a bandage. I doubt after 2 months of fairly regular use I've even used half the bottle. Regardless ,it'd be worth it as it works so well.

You have to buy this if you use medical tape regularly.
I've been using a medical device that I have to tape to my body for years now, and never had a problem with it, that is until about a year ago when I developed a nasty rash due to the skin irritation the tape caused from having to put it on and take it off so frequently. The doctor even went as far as to say that I shouldn't use the device anymore. The device I use is for pain, and to be honest, I would rather put up with the rash than stop using it. But, thanks to this product I don't have to! A little goes a long way, and like other reviews have mentioned, you need to wait until it dries completely before you apply the tape. I've added too much sometimes and you can always tell because it will turn a chalky, white color on your skin, and then the tape won't adhere too well. You really only need a thin layer in order for it to protect your skin. I've also used products like the hy-tape (the pink medical tape) which is great but could get pricey with the amount of times I have to change it in a day. This tube will last me over 2 months which makes it way cheaper than anything else I've tried. I highly recommend it.

A little goes a long way!
I have developed allergic dermatitus on my cheeks due to mask wearing in the age of COVID. It became so bad that small blisters developed and it all itched like crazy! I am almost completely healed now, thanks in part to this product (Tape Relief sport). It protects my skin, so I can use the gentle tape strips to add another layer of defense when wearing a mask. Awesome product. So good I am ordering another tube right after this. Oh, and a little goes a long way. The first time I put some on I had way too much of it. Use small amounts and it will work wonders.
