Fitted. Worked. No leaks or faults.
As above. I used sealant round the embedded rubber seal when fixing it to the block and would recommend that this is always done. The majority of poor reviews due to leaking are IMO inevitably down to not doing so.

Saved a fortune
Got this for less than a fraction of the dealer part. Works well and solved my engine management light problem . Will it last as long as a genuine part then I guess time will tell but I can’t see why not

Better than going to a car dealer!
When my original thermostat packed in I bought a new one from the dealer (£98.00 ex VAT) and managed to crack the original thermostat housing when fitting it, Arrrgghh! Found this item and replaced the whole thing. That was last year and still ok. If by some quirk of fate, writing this review has jinxed it, I'll reduce the number of stars by one :)By the way, if anyone needs a brand new thermostat without the housing ...

Product worked well for two weeks now has developed a leak from bottom useless connector

Chinese rubbish
So bought this thermostat housing and after a couple of hours of fitting went to fill the system up with coolant and basically game pouring out the housing. Seems to be a plastic blanking plug at the bottom of the housing that the liquid is pouring out from…..
