Great rechargable alternative to common AA battery
TLDR:Great product. Solid made, easy recharge, charge held well.98% comparable to capacity of a regular AA Duracell battery. One out of four batteries was damaged for me, and before I knew for sure, the seller already sent me a new pack.I am definitely coming back to purchase again from this seller.Long story for whose needing more details... and nerds. =3I use a high-powered device every day for work and hobby. I've started with a NiMH rechargables, but within a few months they were inoperable, due to constant abuse (also low quality, but I got them with the device). So I decided to try the regular AA Duracell and Energizer batteries. Both are NiCa and rated around 1400-1700 mAh. I clocked about 7 hours of use off the regular batteries, give or take half hour. Getting tired of spending money constantly on batteries and polluting, I look up these batteries. Now, I've also looked around - amount of mAh, reviews, even company itself. I decided to try out Survival Frog. I was not disappointed. As I have mentioned above, I think one of the batteries is a little degraded chemical-side and discharges quicker than its partner in my device. So this kept in mind I would like to speak mostly about the good (regular) pair (there are four in the pack) and provide best/average stats as I have came to experience them.First of all, the items are great in terms of use - they compare to the regular batteries within 98% of capacity, in my opinion (about 10 uses for me at the time of writing this review). For the remaining 2%, they made up more than enough with rechargability. So some of my testing/usability stats:- With my high-power device I get a solid 6-7 hours of time, solid use, no issue, no interruptions. (compared to 7 hours of Duracell)- I have charged with a Mac, "PC" and car charger. Different amp grades. Consistent use, Batteries shut off on their own.- Recharge time is about 40 minus off a computer-out USB (I have not clocked car charging because driving take attention, sorry)Pros:- Reusable over and over... and over... No drop in performance after 10 charges, consistent use time.- Rechargeable (I mean... this is why you are buying them... So you already knew this. =))- "Comfortable" - Cap is secured well for the USB connector, although I will need to see how long the rubber string lasts. Looks decent though.- Comes with a small USB hub for charging. Very lightweight with switches for on-off.- Very lightweight (I think they are lighter than regular batteries)- Design is, actually, pretty nifty (Minus the color, but is for "frog" color)- Seems to be build quite solid - don't seem flimsyCons:- Caps don't always fit well visually, but only visually - there is no interruption in service and electric contact is solid- Poison-Green color is a con for me, per personal preference.I would definitely purchase again, when the charge degrade.

THEY WORK, AMAZING VALUE!!
I've been using these for years & they WORK & are super convenient. I have saved a ton of money on batteries for everyday things like my xbox controller, electric toothbrush, wireless mouse, etc. And it is so convenient when your wireless mouse battery dies & you can just charge the battery right into the USB port of your computer. I have had only 1 battery in my briefcase since I've discovered this item - and I have yet to throw out a single battery. They haven't gone bad yet & it's been years! As long as they continue to make it, me & my family will continue to buy it. I only wish they'd ship to Hawaii, otherwise this is an amazing value.

Love the design on these
By making the cap a cover for the USB slot I feel like this is much easier to use than the batteries I've seen that use a USB-mini side port. With those if the mounting was done improperly, the cable won't either slot properly or stay attached, and in both cases the ones I had didn't charge properly. With these, I can plug them in, leave them overnight, and I'm good to go. They're great for both my wireless mouse and my Xbox Controller, so I can play anything on my laptop at home, or on the go with no problems. The only reason I don't give them a full 5-star is I wish the batteries would last a little longer, and I would love to see the material used to keep the cap attached to the main battery to be made of something more durable-seeming.

Honestly better than I was anticipating
Some of the other reviews made it sound like I would need to be charging these pretty regularly, but the one I've been using in my computer mouse, I've had in there for almost 2 months and the one battery has lasted this whole time without swapping it out. They fit perfectly, so there is no worries about them being the wrong size or anything with the cap. It makes sense that the cap would be attached, that you cannot fully remove it just to make sure it lines up correctly when you put it back on, and having that cap attached limits where I can charge it, I use a USB hub, so I had to move some wires to get it to fit, but they charge very quickly, and they definitely hold that charge. I wish I had these when I was younger, and needed more batteries in my life. I would have saved a lot of money.

These are awesome!
Love that the USB is built in to the battery. Comes with little plastic case and easy to charge and use. Great purchase for all those electronics!

The charge does not last as long as regular AAs.
Bought these for the novelty of something new and clever. My order arrived - just four batteries in a plastic case - no charger like the others received - $18.93 (Now charging $4 more). I charged them fully and then put them in the plastic case and gave them to my wife as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. She put them in a walkie talkie but they just lasted a day on standby. I asked her to charge them over night because I had charged them two weeks earlier and maybe they had run down on their own.The walkie only took three AA batteries but she charged all four overnight. I went out to cut wood and just put three AA batteries I got from Harbor Freight (yellow ones) for free in my walkie. We didn't talk too much but did yack a bit.By evening her batteries were almost dead and my walkie still showed some life left. I think that the size/volume of the USB section reduces its ability to hold a charge as compared to a full sized lithium AA. Turns out these batteries are not lithium Ion but Ni-Mh.They are novel but not worth the money in my estimation. I looked on AliExpress and you can buy these for less than $2 a piece. If they had been 1.5v and lithium Ion it would be a good deal.
