Wow, I was amazed at the quality of this jeep JK bumper. The metal is much thicker, the welding is cleaner, and the finish is absolutely perfect. This is a very solid bumper and I can't wait to mount a new winch on it. I added the red d-shackles in the pic, they were not included. I also have some fog lights that I plan to add to the bumper, and then we will be ready for Moab. The packaging was amazing and the bumper arrived without a single blemish. Installation was simple, I did it myself, but would have been a little easier with a helper. Quadratec really hit the mark for me. Thanks!

I've been looking for winch numbers for the Jeep and stumbled upon this. It was $200 with tax. I love the style of the bumper and installation went mostly smoothly. Keep in mind you'll need extension wires for your fog lights and a relocation kit for the aux vacuum pump.The installation instructions say to use a buddy to help hold while installing. I'd say you need 2 buddies to hold it while someone's underneath starting bolts. I used a forklift with straps and it still took considerable effort to get the bolt holes aligned and started. Also my winch is pushing on the grill. (Probably 3/16" of distortion) I wish the holes would have been a little closer to the front.

Easy istall, much heavier than I expected (that's a good thing). 12,000 lb winch bolted in without any issues. Highly recommend.

Let's talk about what is amazing first:1. Design. This bumper is made by a reputable brand and the quality of materials is evident. Great powder coating and very strong structure.2. Price. I don't think there is another US made bumper of this quality at this price.3. Installation. This is my favorite part. I like to work ALONE. I saw other bumpers didn't fit right or needed two people. This one is a one man job. It took me about 10 minutes after I got the horrible stock one off. One of the easiest installations I've ever done on a Jeep.4. Delivery. Showed up super fast. Maybe because I'm in Chicago but it was about 5 days early.Ok, why is it NOT five stars?1. Stripped bolts. I was only able to use 6 of the 8 bolts to secure the bumper to the Jeep. Two holes were stripped. Frustrating.2. Dented. I'm not sure who's fault this one is. I'm assuming it left the factory in good shape; the packaging is solid. But there was a quarter size dent in the very top of the bull bar.3. No fog light extensions. Seems like these would be easy to include.Otherwise, I highly recommend this bumper. Its basically a stumpy with some bull bars to protect around the fenders. Love the design.
