Saw this book in a youtube video and decided to try it. Very informative with instructions for 5 sizes of each block. With a sample for each one. Gives experience levels for each. Nice size to carry with you to classes.

This book contains 110 quilt blocks in 5 sizes with project ideas per block. I got this book because it contains mostly modern and some traditional quilt blocks. It will help me quickly find a block to make a quilt project when I want to make something but, just need a reference, layout suggestion and, cutting instructions for a certain size. The book begins with a page of contents, then a page of how to use the block construction chart at the top of each page, for each block. There are groups of block indexing at the beginning of the book based on block name, number of grids or rows, skill level 1, 2 or 3 and, precut friendly index. Following this is a page for each block with a picture for construction (which may not be enough information for a beginner), brief instructions on cutting pieces, yardage suggestions for a particular size and design layout options for multiples of that single block. At the end of the book there are several pages of tips and helpful charts for piecing and figuring fabric amounts.

Lots of neat block patterns. Would be helpful to have a little more in the way of instructions.

Ive planned on trying several.Lots and lots of info.My go to quilt pattern book!Ive made 8 quilts before i got this book.Wish i had it before, but i got it now.It saves a-lot of figuring an planning.

So many great blocks and sizes.

I gave the 5 stars for the book itself. The only thing disappointing is how it’s packaged. Put it in a box! The mail person has no idea what they are delivering so there is no care there. I fixed the corners that were damaged so I guess that’s a good thing. I like getting a new book that’s in excellent condition. That’s what I pay for. As for the contents of the book, excellent! Highly recommended for a quilter who wants to expand their knowledge.

I've not quilted much with modern blocks, but this tool looks perfect. Lots of inspiration here.

I was very excited to get this block book, but I was very disappointed when it arrived with the cover on both sides bent. Very poor packaging from Amazon.I like the designs of the blocks. This is the third book in the series, and I’ve loved them all.Honestly, I’ve recently started ordering from another company because of the overall poor quality of the shipping from Amazon.
