I needed a better quality short and these seem to get the job done. They are comfortable and have a decent pad for longer distance road bike riding. One thing I like they are not too tight like some of the big name shorts. They have good stretch and they are true to size. I'm 5'9 and 190 lb and I went with the large. Might be able to get into a medium if I wanted a tighter fit. The pad is reasonably comfortable but like everything you have to build up to tolerance of a longer ride. I recently did a 120 mile road bike ride that took 7.5 hours and these shorts held up well. There is a newer version for $10 more that did not look as comfortable. But I can't, since I did not purchase those because it appeared to have a different kind of pad in there that I did not think would work for a longer ride. I have actually purchased three of these because I ride between 3 and 5 days a week.

I like these cycling shorts because they offer a good value and comfort for casual and moderate distance rides. The padding is great, the fabric is decent, and the performance features are helpful.The fabric is breathable and moisture wicking, keeping me cool and dry even on hot days. The four way stretch of the material really is nice because it allows for unrestricted movements. This is very crucial in cycling especially for those intense climbs.The shorts come equipped with 4D gel padding. This is super helpful when cycling. It is thick enough to absorb those hard bumps but without feeling too bulky or uncomfortable. I appreciate the way it is strategically placed to prevent saddle sores. I was able to take a 50 mile route without any discomfort so thats a big win in my book.The shorts also come with reflective stripes which is great for added visibility and overall safety. The phone pocket on the leg is also a nice touch for quick access, and the flatlock seams minimize chafing.In general I would make the suggestion of washing them inside out and air dry to preserve the fabric and padding quality.I am happy with my purchase of these cycling shorts overall. The sizing is accurate, they are comfortable to wear and a good value for the money. I would recommend them to other cyclists.

As inexpensive as what could be found at a Walmart or Meijer. But as protective and comfortable as the ones that cost upwards of a hundred dollars at a shop.The padding is amazing. The compression is great. And the sizing is true to what you think you will need.This is definitely a positive result to the homework and research I’ve done before purchasing this item because I refuse to spend $100 or more on riding shorts.And the best information and schooling I’ve found about these shorts originated from credible, reputable sites and blogs that provide one with real information.I’ll be getting a few more of these and recommend them anytime to anyone.

These are very durable and comfortable biking shorts. Love the longer length and how the shorts stay fit on the thigh. If I could have a wish it would be to have a pocket(s) on the outside thigh and a drawstring tie. Otherwise, these are a great pair of biking shorts. Great colors to choose from too.

I have 3 pair of the older style (blue pad) and they were not bad but not great. The new ones (green pad) are massively better. Well worth the $5 price difference. Usually at the beginning of the season any ride over 30 miles results in some chaffing and discomfort but not with these. I have done multiple 40+ rides and they are great. I can even ride 2 days in a row which is usually not possible this early in the season. These are as good as any bike shorts I have ever had and remind me of the old Performance Bike Ultra shorts. The brand seems to hold up well and I had no problems even with ones that are 3 years old. Sizing seems to be pretty accurate too. I already bought a second pair and will retire some of my older shorts because these are so much more comfortable.

I needed padded shorts for long motorcycle tours. I've dropped some weight and have to fat pad on my butt. These seem to be working well. Good fit, decent quality, nice design. I'd buy again.Had to return the first pair because medium was too small for me. I re-ordered a large, which Prime delivered in about six hours--yes, six--and the refund was processed an hour after I turned the return into UPS. Amazon nails the customer service.

I love these bicycling pants for my EMTB riding. I have experienced with regular shorts that things will be bouncing around and sometimes get squezzed a little especially on the more crazy downhill trails. So was looking for something with better control, and these fit the bill. Ultra comfortable - nice padding in the right place - cant talk to durability or any long term features. But product feels solid - but i have realized there is no pockets at all - i have been used to have my phone in one pocket and energy bars in the other, so i dont have to take off my camelback in order to get those 2 things.For that season i took off 1 star, otherwise a clear 5 star product!

I've only used these a couple of times, but wow what a difference! I ride without padded shorts years ago and trying to get past the boots soreness was the worst! So, when I bought my new bike I went ahead and bought these padded shorts and the difference is incredible!!! They do the job nicely. The fit was true to size per the fitting chart too. I was told never to buy cheap and I'm sure the more expensive options would be even better, but these work good enough for me that I'm buying a second pair. After a few days of moderate riding (4-6 miles a day) my booty isn't sore at all!
