Not a bad little kit, the characters are redundant as they are the exact same figures that come with the high school. The door with the bars is also too recessed to be useful, neither I nor my 3 and 7 year olds could open it. Moving it out and changing the knob made it work and there were enough spare pieces to do it. The slide is cool as are the chamber and boat escape. Works well on it's own but as part of the set they should have put in katana or another character that isn't otherwise used.

So Legos is something we have been buying for my daughter for the past few years. This is the first set she has worked on independently (a little help needed every so often). I recommend it for Lego Enthusiasts and girls. The age rating by Lego is accurate.
