Sweet!
This knife is outstanding and I got it when the reduced the sale price. D2 steel varies in performance according to the way that it was manufactured and ground. So far, this D2 is excellent. The scabbard is made well enough and out of decent leather but it is design flawed. The belt loop is too large for most ofy belts causing the entire sheath to rise when I attempt to present the knife. Very annoying! I mostly remedied this by punching a hole in the upper belt loop and the back of the sheath and I fastened the sheath and loop together at the his point using a Chicago screw. Eventually, I willake a custom leather sheath for this knife.Don't let the sheath stop you. It is adequate! The knife is sharp, beautiful, and, it became one of my straight blade carry favorites as soon as I unpacked it.I highly recommend this knife which cost me under $20.00 on sale.

Impressive knife for the price.
Decent steel, good sharpening - paper cuts well. Nice wooden handle. Very good sheath made of genuine leather. The thickness of the metal is even excessive - it could have been 1 mm narrower. Slightly spoils the impression of grinding paste, which clogged the pores of the wood on the handle.

Nice knife, especially for the price.
This knife is one I keep with me in my pack all day. It came sharp and in good shape. It seems durable and has nice sharp 90 degree angles on the spine for us a ferro rod. The sheath is well molded to the knife and holds it securely. Very good for the price.

Great knife!!!
This is one good looking knife! It's razor sharp out of the box and had a nice thick spine! So far the edge is holding up really well d2 has always held up great for me! This knife is worth the price only wish it had a scandi grind but for a $30 thick hunk of d2 u can't go wrong!!!

The quality of the leather as well as the blade are great
This was a gift for my husband who collects knives and is therefore he is very critical when it comes to knives. This knife passed his test all the way around and this has actually become his favorite knife that he carries with him often! My husband loved this knife so much that he even bought one for his brother! I would recommend this knife to anyone who can appreciate great craftsmanship!

Worth the wait.
Very nice knife. It looks as feels like a a very high priced knife; The Blade and handle are well balanced. The scales are blended perfectly to the tang. The blade is perfect. The sheath is super nice and the knife fits snug. The knife is beautiful. I am very happy with my purchase.

Nice Bushcrafting Knife. Bad Bonded Leather Sheath.
I love the knife. The blade came sharp, is roughly 3/16" thick and balanced just right. The size is perfect for a camp knife, bushcrafting knife or all-around EDC knife. My only complaint is with the bonded leather sheath that is complete garbage! It's too thin and will not last if worn for any length of time. I replaced it with a thick, top-grain leather sheath which totally completed the package for a heavy duty EDC knife. If you're looking for a better than typical, budget bushcrafting knife and you're willing to spend a bit more for a proper leather sheath, this knife is worth the try. I gave just three stars because they cut corners on the sheath which is an extremely important part of a fixed blade knife package, and a point of safety because it protects the knife and it protects you from the knife. Never compromise on a fixed blade knife sheath!

Solid knife for the money
So my original purchase actually had a missing grommet on the sheath. I contacted the seller, and they didn’t send me a new sheath, they sent me an entire new setup, knife and all.Amazing customer service. Now the knife:The steel is thick, and I’m super hard. It took me a while to get it shaving sharp but it will hold that edge, which is important.Handle is some kind of composite that could probably drive nails in if needed.Sheath is mid grade leather, but thick. A little oil and use and it’ll be just fine. All in all a great little knife.
