Dr. MartensUnisex Sinclair 8 Eye Platform Boots

I'll start this review off by addressing the claims that these boots run a size larger than usual. They absolutely do not. I'm really not sure where people are getting that, but I find them to very much be true to size. Because of the reviews I'd read prior to purchase, I ordered a 9 and a 10. I am a true size 10 (In almost all shoes), but I was unsure because of the reviews, so I got both and planned to return whichever pair didn't fit. I ended up returning the size 9 because my toes were literally touching and pressing against the front of the boot. 10 it is! The 10 fit like an absolute dream. I usually have a problem with boots being too tight/narrow in width. My foot is wide across the top, and narrow at the heel. These fit so well, and I will even say they're a bit generous with the width, as my foot has more than enough room to fit and spread comfortably even with tights or socks, even though I seldom wear socks. They may even be a bit loose fitting, but I actually like that about these and find it very comfortable. You can always tighten the laces if you want a more snug fit.I have worn these boots literally every day since I bought them, and I always get tons of compliments on them from men and women. They go really well with just about anything, and I usually wear them with casual dresses, and the white looks really cool and different with my predominantly tie dye and black wardrobe. You can dress them up or down, very versatile, and I love that the zippered part is removable so that you also have the option to wear them as a lace up boot as well. The platform is also the perfect height.This is my first pair of Dr. Martens, and I will definitely be purchasing more, and probably this style in black. The comfort of these boots is beyond!! I have never owned a more comfortable pair of boots (other than my Manitobahs) and I can stand and walk just about all day in these without any discomfort. Actually, I hate taking them off at the end of the day when I get home lol. This is probably the only brand of combat boots I will ever wear from now on. The footbed is firm, but soft enough to be forgiving, and I can tell that they will conform to my feet over time. I have flat feet, and I do find that these offer a comfortable and sufficient amount of arch support for me.They are really well made boots, and I definitely feel like they will last for years. They are a little pricey, but it has been so worth it for the style, comfort, and enjoyment I get out of wearing them. If you're hesitating on buying them...don't! Just do it, get the boots, you will not regret it!

I ordered, and received, a White pair, US Size Women's 5.Better than a pair of sneakers which will not protect your feet from being stepped on. Additionally, if your sneakers are made of cloth or some kind of canvas your sneakers will not keep your feet dry in winter/rainy weather. And....ugh and euwww....your canvas sneakers will not protect your feet from becoming polluted during your trips to the airplane bathrooms (ugh...dirt, human waste, germs).Doc Martens are my ultimate choice:Instead of sneakers (even leather ones), I got these comfortable platform zippered-closure Doc Martens in the colour white. These totally comfortable platform Doc Martens are a perfect solution because they are super easy and fast to put on and get off while going through inspections by TSA.These Doc Martens look smart. They give that polished, stylish, neatly put-together look and vibe while you are traveling....by air, train, or sea or during that long road trip.I have several pairs of Doc Martens (all of them platform models). This particular pair, like all my other pairs of Doc Martens shoes, is very comfortable, cradles my feet, supports my ankles, and can be worn all day and night. They also give me that extra appreciated height, giving me that desirable long-legged look.I got this model of Doc Martens (with the zipper in front) especially because I want to be comfortable on an airplane and be able to quickly and easily take off my shoes and as quickly and easily put my shoes back on when going through TSA inspections and lines. They might feel heavy at first, but at 81 years old, I can still trot/run in these shoes to catch a flight.For travelers....airplanes...these shoes are a surefire way to avoid wading around on the often sloppy floors of airplane bathrooms (euwww). Perhaps you've read that news about a lung haul flight having to turn back because a passenger defecated "all up and down" in the airplane. Imagine having to walk through that stinky mess in other kinds of shoes. You will wish you had on a pair of platform Doc Martens to "rise above the crowd".These shoes are made of high-quality, strong leather and built on a sturdy sole that can easily and quickly be wiped down with a damp cloth/towel or even rinsed off if someone vomits on your feet or spills/splashes yuk-poop stuff onto your feet.Just go for them....you'll be glad you did. These shoes arrived in record time and were well-packed. They come in several colours so you aren't limited to getting them only in elegant white.

OMG 😍 I am so happy I decided to buy these. They are so cute and so comfy ! I normally have problems with a lot of shoes and sneakers (especially since I broke my foot) but they are true to size, I don’t think they feel heavy at all, and the bonus is that they add height to my 5ft body! I have another pair also with buckles and they are also true to size, and very comfortable. In fact, I love them so much that I hate taking them off! They are totally worth spending money on.

I hate that I wasted catching the sale when they were $150 on the wrong size. I ordered them in my normal size (8) after much back and forth due to the reviews being split between "size down" and "true to size". Well wouldn't you know it....they were to loose and floppy. Some might be ok with it and prefer a bit of space but I'm 5'1" and they look high to me even with thick socks. The leather wrinkles and buckles. I returned them and repurchased a size 7 from popular shoe store in the mall for $50 more, ugh. They fit and feel a bit snug but the clerk reassured me that I need to break them in and they'd be fine. I've only worn them a couple times and it's a painful process but I think they're almost there. They're so cuuuute to. Pictures beside my favorite platform boots for reference. They're the perfect height and are super cute with everything! Get them but I suggest trying them on in-store first.

I’m obsessed with these boots. They do run large. I wear a size 8 in every other shoe, but the 8 was way too big and I had to size down to a 7. These are my first pair of doc boots and I love them! Super comfy and not hard to break in. The leather is soft and I love the zipper. So far 10/10 - just be careful with the sizing when ordering.
