This is my second pair of OluKai Kippi flip flops. The other pair was still going strong after 5 years of normal wear at beach and pool. We returned recently from a vacation and I misplaced them, so these replace the lost pair. I have plantar fasciitis and these are the only brand of slipper, flip flop that I will ever buy again. The reason I got this particular shoe to begin with was a result of a vacation trip to Kona 5 years ago. I observed the beach lifeguard wearing them. I asked about them and she gave a very positive review. Upon return I immediately ordered them and she was absolutely correct. They are very comfortable, sturdy, quick dry and very durable. These are well worth the price and you will not be disappointed. I also have a leather pair of Olukai and they are holding up just fine after 4 years of normal wear.

Bought a pair on the Big Island 2 years ago for my husband because it said on the tag, the sandal of the Hawaiian Lifeguards. I am a ladies size 9 he is a 10. But I stole them from him even though they were too large. I never thought I would see them on Amazon and I immediately ordered my own in a men's size 8. The toe part doesn't rub or hurt. The cushioning is very good and neither too soft or too hard. Arch support pretty darn good and my feet are 70 years old. I have had many flip flops over the years and these are worth every penny. I tried a pair of these on many years ago in Guam because I saw a $80 pair of flip flops on the shelf at the Navy Exchange surrounded by $20 Reefs and Quiksilvers, I wanted to try them on and see why they were 4 times the price. My foot slipped into heaven. I didn't buy them then. I wished I had, but, I found them here on Amazon on sale and snagged them up. These "slippers" (as they are called in the pacific islands where these are made in Hawaii) ate the best of the best in quality and comfort. I wore these this past weekend while teaching my daughters how to ride their bicycles up and down the street chasing them, felt like running on clouds.

Had Olukais that, after 3'ish years, have to be replaced. I wanted a model with a little more arch support and these satisfy that criterion. As others have mentioned, initially they're tight. My older Olukais weren't in the beginning, but my one complaint about them is that they felt a little too loose when I was walking around outside. Now, after approx 2 weeks of continued wear, they're very comfortable. I like that the fit is more snug because when I walk around it feels more like they're part of my feet. More flip and less flop. Very happy with the quality too.

Love these sandals they are great, feel great, stay on great. Only complaint is the first day i had them my feet got wet and we were walking a lot and it wore some nice blisters from the strap on the tops of my feet.. i have worn them a lot more since then and it hasnt happened again, so my guess is it was just from having wet feet. None the less still love them.

First off, I have to say I love Olukai flip flops. They're on the expensive side but always hold up. Based on my initial impressions these adhere to the same statement. I really like the style and the fact that they are beach ready whereas some of their other flip flops are not. I just wish I could take them to a beach right now but with COVID going on, that's an unlikely scenario. Recommended!

I have been a loyal Olukai customer for more than 13 years, this will be my last pair! I had them for 2 months and are already coming undone, it used to be that these shoes would last for years; 2 months this will be my last pair sadly, I love the grip, but can't justify buying shoes that last 2 months.The company reached out and sent a new pair!
