ALPS OutdoorZTrail Blazer Pack

Great day pack! Holds everything I need for a day hike. I like the middle strap on the back. Good for a coat or sweater depending on how hot the day is. Or a small hunting chair. Never used the rifle holder/strap thou.

This frameless pack is a little more than a day pack, but not enough if you are doing any serious hiking with all your camp gear. Plenty of room, and all the straps and buckles appear to land in good spots for a comfortable wear. Only downside is that the hip straps are just webbed strap...no padding at all. I could see that being a problem with a full load and a 10-mile hike. I'm adding some aftermarket pads to mine, for that reason. Otherwise, the main compartment is large. The only external compartment is small and at the top. I've used the rifle sling, and it works well.

The sling for the rifle makes hiking to the deer stand a lot easier. Right amount of pockets and straps. I normally am tough on my bags and they last about a season or two. This bag seems a lot more durable and should last a lot longer.

This is a great backpack. High quality and good construction. The straps are great and really distribute the weight of the pack evenly. Very comfortable for all day wearThat being said, there are TWO pockets here, one tiny, about wallet sized, and the second is the main compartment. It's got a thin barrier for a water bladder but everything is in a heap in there. You have to rummage for anything you need.This thing is merciless to sandwiches and pop tartsOther than that, great pack

Great pack. Would like to have a divided inner compartment or a 2nd compartment though.
