The book gives general rules and knowledge along with actual crop rotation samples, What I like most is the author knows that ideal crop rotations is not always the real world situation. Balancing labor, equipment, time, expenses, achieving overall goal, and knowing you must make a certain amount of profit. Reaping the benefits of a harvest while maintaining/improving the soil capital at the same time. Does go into weed, pest, and disease management. I would say this is the most relevant book on the topic today.

I liked it. I am using it for a sustainable Ag class that I'm taking in college.

Great guide, before this book I would do everything backwards. This year I will plant a cover crop for the winter and do some prep work.

As a potential farmer, I am learning more about organic farming everyday. This book is about to become my best friend.
