these work so good for a bigger tank on go cart with bigger motor

Ad makes a big deal about it coming with a metal fuel fitting, then I get the tank and it’s plastic... I can’t figure out how to contact the vendor to get the metal one and Amazon’s only option on everything now is to return it... what a waste of money for Amazon and time for me.I needed the tank so I installed it anyway. Seems cheap, but it’s holding fuel for now.

When I bought this tank, the description specifically stated that the gas line nipple was made out of steel or brass of some sort. What I received was a cheap nylon or plastic threaded nipple, so I already know where to expect the first point of failure with this tank.

Not very pleased by the description. To me this is false advertisement. It stated you would get a metal filter it showed up with a plastic one. Other than that it seems to be okay. I bought this one because it stated metal filter.

It was an excellent replacement for the original tank!

Although I have not had a chance to install the fuel tank yet or a hydraulic tank I also got through Amazon on a old home made log splitter I am sure they will fit and make it work as new. As for the cost I figure total cost would be only 25% of what a similar new one would be Thank You for the saving help.

full of dents and studs bent out of place. not happy. i knew it was a knock off but the quality is quite poor. i need it or id send it back. gas cap is cheap tin. never had this issue with anything before. not boxed..bubble rapped only. id have done better to buy used this time i think. i,ll be sure to let you know if it leaks. then it will be no stars
