Works great!
I purchased this manual coffee grinder about two months ago and I use it all the time! I use a 6-cup moka pot to brew my espresso. Prior to buying this grinder I was using an electric stainless steel blade grinder, which only took seconds to grind my coffee, but the results were nowhere near the quality of the grinds that ceramic burrs provide. I browsed all over for manual and ceramic burr grinders (both on Amazon and in stores), and this one had great product reviews and I did notice a few specially mentioning the good customer service, which is very important given that I was not familiar with the brand before.I was very excited to use it for the first time and I was totally fascinated. The grinder works perfectly, the size is great, easy to grip while grinding and it has all the bells and whistles you need like the completely closed lid to avoid beans flying around, the catcher, measuring aid, etc. The quality is impressively good, although I have used it only two weeks it seems pretty durable and the design is pretty nice as well.I guess many people out there are debating as I did between buying a ceramic burr grinder or stainless steel blades, manual vs automatic, etc, but in summary I want to share my experience with this powerful small grinder:Positive Aspects:-Great Quality Materials, very well constructed-Ceramic Burrs always do a way better job than stainless steel blades-Great Grind Consistency-Very easy to use-Amazing price for cerami burrs, the electric grinders with ceramic are way too expensive-Although it is manual, it gets the job done fast-You can adjust the grind settings very easily, with many different options for coarse or fine grindsa-Very good customer service-It comes with a bonus brush to clean the grinderThe cons:There is no particular con for this grinder, but I think people have to take into account that it is manual and it does take a bit more time than an electric ceramic burr grinder (or stainless steel blade grinder if you choose that option). For me, spending $150 dollars for a decent electric ceramic burr grinder was not an option, so this grinder made all the sense for me, because it has the same quality.Overall it is a beautiful and efficient grinder with fantastic quality!

Grinds consistent. Seems tough.
Works very well. Handle is easy to attach. My shaft has the single flat not the hex design. Cutter seems easy enough to adjust although it feels like in some positions it "Clicks" and in others it just turns. I think it may be that it "Clicks" as you get to the largest grind setting.. -1 star as it is rather difficult to hold it down on the counter and turn because sometimes a bean stops the handle as you are cranking. Seems if the base dispenser part (the clear part) was a bit wider it would be less prone to wiggling and tipping. If you are not holding the clear bottom piece down firmly, the whole unit will tip or fall. You have to grip it rather tightly. It does take a few minutes to grind a full dispenser. I also just hold it in my hand as I grind instead. It makes for a consistent grind. The bottom dispenser fits well and comes off and on easily. Its marked for measurement.I kept the box and cut a small square slot in the top flap at a corner. Now when I am done, I open the box flaps, drop it in the box with the handle on, then shut the flaps again. The handle simply sticks out. I can then put the box back on the shelf.

You get what you pay for.
I have used this grinder for more than 3 months. I use it for a V60 pour over. The grinder is easy to use, straightforward, and seems reasonably well built. The most glaring issue, as noted by other reviewers, is the looseness in the handle- the nut works itself loose during operation, and I end must tighten it several times while grinding enough beans for my brew. The second issue with the grinder (and the reason for three stars) is just the inconsistency in the grounds. I could not quite get an in-focus picture to demonstrate this, but I think the picture shows the inordinate number of boulders and fines present in the grind. This issue presents itself negatively in the taste and aroma of the finished coffee. I am looking to get a medium-fine grind for a pour-over, but the impression I get from other reviewers is that the grinder may function better for either coarser (french press) or finer applications. While the grind is world's ahead of a typical blade grinder, it does not even compare with a higher quality manual or electric burr grinder.Thirdly, I would like to mention the grind time. This is the only handheld grinder I have personally owned, but I believe it grinds fairly slow. I have timed it at 4 to 6 minutes for 20-30 grams of grounds. This issue is exaggerated by the need to stop and tighten the grind handle several times. When I have ground enough to make coffee for a group (40 grams)- it really does take an effort. The bottom line is that, like most things in life, you get exactly what you pay for here. Personally, I wish I had skipped this purchase and saved towards a higher quality grinder.
