Works great, batteries hold charge for a very long time, stands up to the elements. Nonissues with frequency or use. This is a great buy for the price.

For what these cost, they are amazing. Pair these with one of the long Abree folding tape antennas, and they reach out quite far. I get a little over a mile in mixed suburban city use, much further with some elevation or line of sight. Battery life is EPIC! I’ve used them in standby for 5 days, with battery to spare! Easy to program with CHIRP software.

These have very good clarity. Still discovering features, I did order a more powerful antennae for better range. I like the extra battery pack and feature set. I got a couple of Molle nylon carriers for hiking. Price is excellent.

Package arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Setup was straight forward using chirp software.

Using as a mobile on road trips for family without radios. Larger unit to accommodate large battery. Tested output of 6 watts. Got the extra speaker/microphone with volume control on mic. Attach radio to magnetic mount antenna, turn it on and throw into center console with only microphone exposed. Works great.

Picture as advertised shows falsely two radios with batteries and four batteries, description states two extra batteries, this is true. Two radios with batteries and two extra batteries is what you receive. Still and good value.

When I purchased these radios I had SHTF in mind.They ARE unlocked and you can program almost any frequency to the radio. 30 day standby time is unavailable. Perfect for listening to many different bands. Mine have over 100 channels programed.Definitely a BUY. (licensed HAM & GMRS Operator)
