Q: When will they flower if sown in April?

They should start flowering from Mid to late July

Q: Will they grow in the shade?

Yes in light shade, but will struggle in full shade

Q: Are these all native plants?

No I wouldn’t have thought many of these are native to the UK but they are all able to grow and thrive here. I am thrilled with the diversity of flowers in this pack and there are so many. I will be planting them in large troughs and pots. There are no fillers like grass in this pack, I totally recommend even if they aren’t all native.

Q: I don't know if the Cornflowers are annuals, should I pull them up now they have finished flowering?

I have cornflowers and they come back every year, I would just leave them. I read somewhere to leave plants alone until early spring. I cut the flower heads off foxgloves lupins and shake them around the the garden so more pop up next year, but birds and beasties will eat other seed heads like sunflowers I suppose. If you prefer it tidy maybe cut it all back but I wouldn’t bother digging anything up until spring so you can see if there is any new growth.
