I've been using this winch for a few years now and it has never let me down. It truly is waterproof and looks pretty good too. I've pulled vehicles and used it to drag logs out of the woods for my sawmill. Used it to control trees I was cutting down near my house (18-25 inch diameter trees). During the recent ice storm I was able to winch trees off the road so my neighbors and I could get in and out of our county road. I love this thing.

Only used it a few times but never a disappointed

Wire provided is NOT 100% pure copper as claimed. I had to relocate the control box and found out the wire supplied is CCA (Copper Clad Aluminum) Very cheap; and carries less current than copper. Once I found out I replaced ALL the power wires to ACTUAL copper wire.

I’ve had the winch on my jeep for a while now. Haven’t had any issues out of it. It’s been worked hard and hasn’t given up yet.

Winch has done everything I have asked it to do. I did replace the rope with something stronger but have no complaints. Wireless remote was damaged in shipping it still works only came with one said came with two. I feel I pushed the winch to its limit it surprised me overall satisfied with its performance.

These winches want to kill you!!Photo of Page 14, of their manual provides the evidence they are aware of issues.First and replacement winch had the same defect.I was using freshly fully charged 1 month old tested battery.BOTH WINCHES: When pulling IN with a load on the winch and using either wireless or wired remote the winch continued to pull IN when button was released. The winch continued to pull all the way in until the line broke and then I was able to push and release the IN button and the winch stopped.

I like this winch a lot. It seems very well made and is a great value for the price. I haven't installed it yet, because my Jeep JK is being delivered tomorrow. I think the installation will go easily. One thing I noticed is that its winch hook opening depth and width is too small. It won't accept the 3/4" pins on my bow shackles or my 3" wide recovery strap loop ends. Inserting either pushes the spring-loaded safety tab all the way back and does not allow the tab to return to its closed (safe) position. It looks like I'll have to purchase a bigger hook.

This was really an awesome winch. I don't really have much experience with winching vehicles but I was too afraid I would rip my bumper off so I returned it but not anything to do with the quality of the winch.
