Ok mount for the price.
Fan works as it should. A little disappointing that it doesn’t come with the screws to clamp on the ESC. Luckily I had some extra screws that fit. I had a plastic clip on fan that kept coming off my Rustler. This one hasn’t come off yet and I do send it hard. Also the side clip doesn’t hold the connector secure so a little zip tie work is necessary unless you don’t care about wire management.

Base good fan not so much
I used the base which worked fine tossed out the fan and put a good one on it

Buy it for the mounting solution along with a better fan.
Hot garbage! fan blades all broke off after first run, with no hard jumps. Didn't even come with the screws to fasten the stupid thing to the ESC. Absolute trash. spend a bit more. im not returning it though. After replacing the trash fan with something that costs twice as much as this BS, i have no more issues. I like the mounting solution.the plastic crap that comes from traxxas is overall equally crap, but in the exact other way. So, yeah don't expect anything from the fan, but at leas the mounting solution is good, assuming you can find the screws.

Broke almost immediately after a couple of jumps
The fan that comes with the Traxxas trucks is 100 times more reliable. I bought two of these and they both broke off soft jumps.

Fits 2 version of VLS-S3 that I'm aware of.
