Anna Griffin Empress Machine - Electric Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for Card Making, Complete Plate System, Cutting Dies and Embossing Folders - 13 x 6 x 6.1 inches

This is an excellent machine for cutting dies and embossing.

I love my Anna Griffin Empress! I did a lot of research before purchasing, as this is my first electronic die cutting machine. Although the Empress is a little harder to find on the market, it has incredible reviews by a lot of YouTube crafters i admire, so I took the plunge for Prime day. I have already used this machine a lot in a short period of time, and it's amazing. The plates are very strong and sturdy, and cutting into the magnet allows you to position dies with ease. I'll be donating the "extras" (dies and embossing folder) that came with the machine as they're not my style, but this machine has worked perfectly with the materials I have from other companies. I am keeping my manual hand-crank machine for embossing folders and materials not suited for the Empress, but the Empress is for sure my new go-to for paper-crafting!

This machine DID NOT perform at all on 3D embossing folders. It would jam IN the machine to the point of a lot of time getting it UNSTUCK!! I bought the extended warranty with it AND THAT DID NOT COVER ANYTHING. Dealing with ANNA GRIFFIN via PHONE CALL ===AND===AMAZON CUSTOMER SERVICE on-line .... NOBODY was willing to schedule or work out anything for this return. THIS IS WAY TOO MUCH MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN AND WASTED FOR A MACHINE that the seller does not want to stand behind when there is a problem. SO ... buyer be ware. Look for something with better all-around performance and someone that stands behind their product. Because I landed in the hospital during part of this "return window" ... it was marked as non-returnable.. I did a chat on-line with one Amazon rep who SAID SHE HAD handled it; was allowing an exception for the return & all I had to do was box it up; then UPS would pick it up & have the return label ready to stick on it! THERE WAS NO RECORD of this chat transcript when I checked back to follow up ..... NOTHING!!! I was not sent an email to confirm this chat or a copy of the transcript as is their usual practice. SO ... BAD MACHINE. BAD SELLER. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! Look for something else!

I really like using Anne Griffin - Empress Electronic Die Cutting Machine. So far, it has worked wonderfully. Instructions are easy to follow. As stated above, the machine is heavy. That is not a problem for me, as I put it in one place on my craft table and let it stay there. If you are planning on moving it around or carrying it, I would consider purchasing a lighter die cutting machine.

I like the handle for easy carry. It’s quiet and does a good job cutting and embossing. The only thing I would have liked to have is longer plates.

The machine requires multiple passes of paper through and still doesn’t cut. Very expensive for a piece of junk.

I absolutely love this machine, cuts beautifully & I can cut several dies at the same time. I use it all the time. Would highly recommend, just hit the button & boom your items are cut out!!
