Some of the key issues we addressed while designed these cups were the use of low quality magnetic stainless steel and thin handles that bend and look cheap and flimsy in no time. Our measuring cup set is similar in size to many other brands but it weighs up to twice as much because we chose to make the handle extra thick so that it won't bend and a cup thickness that won't get dent. The core material is stainless steel 302. This is an extremely tough and ductile grade that is heat resistant and commonly used in the food and beverage industry. We then apply a microscopic layer of copper that is polished for a fantastic look and finish. These cups won't ever rust and they will look amazing for a very long time. We recommend to hand wash the measuring cups because the hot water in dish washers may cause the copper plating to lose some of it's amazing shine and color depth.
