Screen housing defective after 1 year
After one year, the screen housing has come and apart and is dislodged from the screen. I was able to pry it up and fortunately the monitor is still operational, but even opening it without breaking it further was difficult and it can't be closed again. It has to be replaced and I've contacted the seller.You'll notice at least one other review on this product from this seller with this exact issue. DO NOT BUY.Edit: seller won't respond.

Screen detached bottom rt.
Within 3 mo., the screen detached bottom rt., looks like all the photos of the same issue. I am very gentle with this computer and have always had laptops. Did this distributor buy up then sell defective computers?

May or may not been defective.
This was to be my first laptop. But in trying to get up and going: I had problems like drivers not being installed, and not getting icons on screen, irritating pop-up pages. Everything was frustrating for me. The last straw was I was not able to meet return requirements. My last day fell on a Sunday was a Sunday and my usual places were all closed or about to close!

Defective product
Purchased this laptop on 12/25 to have a spare computer. I have used it minimally and keep it on a desk at all times. When I opened the laptop today (4/5) i was shocked to see the plastic casing of the screen warped and the hardware of the computer visible. I do not know if this is a product defect or if the laptop overheated while plugged in (other reviewers have said that their laptop gets quite hot) and warped the plastic causing the damage. I'm extremely concerned about this being a fire hazard!!Either way, I'm extremely disappointed in the poor quality of this product and hopeful that customer service will be able to remedy the issue without complications - i will update my review according to their response.
